Good morning, JSM, Fanny and all.

Throughout the history of our country, the President of the US bows to no one.  Even when JFK was president, he did not bow to the Pope nor did he and Jackie bow or curtsy to any monarch.  In fact, after JFK was killed and Prince Phillip attended the funeral, Jackie curtsied to him.  He said no, you don't need to do that, but she said, "I am no longer the wife of the head of state." 

At the Olymmpics, only the US doesn't lower our flag to salute the torch or whatever it is the others dip their flag for.

These idiots in the White House admitted that they didn't even think to lower the flag to half staff after the terrorist attack at Ft. Hood.  They are ignorant of US protocol and I shudder to think who their protocol officer might be.  Maybe the Reverent Wright?

But yes, since we don't know the protocol in Kenya and Sharia customs, maybe we are wrong. After all, he did bow to the King of Saudi Arabia.
