Minn. Boy Who Fled Chemo Treatment Now Cancer-Free

MINNEAPOLIS —  A Minnesota teen who fled the state to avoid chemotherapy has finished his cancer treatment.

Daniel Hauser of Sleepy Eye underwent his final radiation session Friday, and his family says the 13-year-old is cancer-free.

Daniel gained national attention when he stopped treatment after one session in February and fled, citing his religious beliefs. After he returned, he underwent court-ordered chemo to treat Hodgkin's lymphoma, then started radiation therapy.

Family spokesman Dan Zwakman tells KSTP-TV everything is going as planned. A call to the family's home from The Associated Press rang unanswered Saturday.

I just turned the TV from Fox to HGTV I think you are right .......it is safer that way.   

You got that right, and this afternoon I will be watching an Andy Griffith marathon

I was watching the vote on tv last night, as it was going down.   One GOP vote for it.  I wonder who that was?
I hope everyone who voted for it loses their seat at the next election.

Today is Rememberance Sunday in England. Basically our Veterans Day. So please remember the British troops serving in Afghanistan. 

They are taking a beating because the goverment isn't giving them the proper equipment in order to fight. These troops are tough, but the stupid Labour party wants to pull them out.

I read he is off the ventilator, but hasn't spoken.

Yahoo - FORT HOOD, Texas – A U.S. Army spokesman says the man authorities say went on a shooting spree at Fort Hood has been taken off a ventilator but still remains in intensive care at a military hospital.
Spokesman Col. John Rossi told reporters on Saturday at Fort Hood that he is not sure if Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan is able to communicate.

Hasan was shot during an exchange of gunfire during Thursday's attack. The military moved him on Friday to Brooke Medical Center in San Antonio, about 150 miles southwest of Fort Hood. Army officials have said Hasan is "not able to converse."

Morning Fanny. I have been up since 7 am, Josef wouldn't let me sleep. I have decided to take him to daycare even though it is out of my way to get to church and skate. I just don't think I want him home alone for 7 hours by himself. He may decide to have a party or something.
