Night Monkeys. I pray for Shaniyah and that her killer is brought to justice.

I am very very tired and worried about my Mom's surgery Wednesday. She will be fine, but I still worry.

Thanksgiving is coming and then Christmas and then I have to go on vacation. I always have an overwhelming sense of doom when I go away.

I am about to lay down too.I have had all I can take today.
I will pray for your Mom.

Tevye - quickly reading back and it looks like your sister needs to have her butt kicked.       Been thinking about you and hope everything is going ok with the chemo.

Northern -  Its good to see you back.  Hope you and your family are all doing better.   Here's a postive thought - you all should be healthy during the upcoming holiday season!

TEVYE, Sorry you had a bad day yesterday. I had one similar on Sunday night, and would have probably declared jihad myself if I didn't have to go over 800 miles. But I was really thinking hard about it. Maybe I'll tell you all about it someday. 

I really can't get into the Christmas thing until after Thanksgiving. The Friday after Thanksgiving all stops are pulled out. Deer season started on that Friday every year down in Alabama and every Christmas box got pulled out. I guess I am a creature of habit.

I have a message for your selfish sister. FU!!!! 

You just keep on keeping on! You are doing just fine!

JSM, your mom will be fine. You have some dread about the holidays only because it cuts into your monkey time. Solution: Tell mom and dad to buy you a laptop, with a wifi card from your cell phone company! Then, we'll always be right where you need us!

Is your mom having surgery in the same hospital as you? I hope so, then you can be there a lot.

Fanny and Mission: I've calmed down some. Now I think it would be fun to drive up to her house and make her "dance", Western style. Ya know, just point S&W at the ground around her feet, and yell "Dance! Dance!" like Clint Eastwood!

(Note to mods: I am totally kidding. Can you imagine how embarrassing it would be to have my own "Tevye's Assault & Battery Trial" thread here??? OMG!)

Thanks No Rose. I am seriously thinking about the Stove Top. I just wished they told me to make mashed potatoes, I can whip those up in a second from a packet.   

   Nooooooooo. You can't have fake potatoes.   

    But you know who has REALLY good mashed potatoes?    Bob Evans - already made up and sold in little plastic containers in the refrigerator section of the grocery store.  Very good, actually.

Okay Monkeys, I think my sister and I have been really bad daughters.

My mom called and said she is having surgery on her back next Wednesday, not looking at the calendar I said "well enough you should be able to cook Thanksgiving dinner".  Arrrggghhhh, I didn't realize that Thanksgiving is NEXT week.   

So being the good mother that she is, she has changed her surgery to day after tomorrow so she can be home for Thanksgiving, BUT she wants me to make dressing for the turkey. HOLY CRAP!!! I can't cook dressing unless it comes from Stove Top Stuffing in a box. What am I gonna do?   

I can give you a really good and simple dressing recipe.

Northern, do you think Marie France got an "enhancement", if you know what a mean?

I think she got two of them.     I am watching the results right now.  France and Richer came in 3rd.  HOLY SMOLY Pelltier and Sale skated together and it was friggin amazing!!!! I thought she was road kill a few times.  As stated before when I was in school back in what seems like  the 1800's  the winter gym classes in middle school they would separate the boys and girls.   Boys got taught hockey girls learned figure skating.  We were marked on our compulsory edges.  I hated it.  It was boring, repetitive and tedious.  Little did I know that it was the fundamentals to not crack your face open on the ice when they taught us jumps and spins.  It also came in handy to drive my boys crazy as they were growing up and I would lace up my skates and join them for a few rounds of pond hockey.  They hated when I did spins with the puck.  I am going to have to fins you the Youtube of tonight.  Kurt Browning also skated a great routine tonight.  I love him as much as I love Scotty Hamilton.

I hate edges and three turns, but in order to do the big stuff you have to have good compulsory knowledge. I bet you did drive your boys crazy doing spins with the puck. I love Kurt Browning, but I love Brian Orser just as much.
