Hubby has a Wii.Bowling is pretty fun.He love to play video games.
I usually play the Playstation 2 with my sidekick or my DS lite.   

I like playing both those systems, too.   For the DS lite - buy the game  "Cradle for Rome".  Its my fav and it sells on Amazon for only about $15.00.

Drive safe Mission.       You gotta get the Biggest Loser game.   You really don't even have to have a Wii balance board to play it - but it is more fun with it because it tells you how much you weigh and how much you've lost (or gained each week).   lol.   Its pretty cool.   I like working out with it because the time goes by quickly.

Sassy how does it know how much you weigh? Does it have a scale with it?    It would make me cry because I would probably gain, not lose.

Any of you guys have a Wii balance board?   Its alot of fun.    I have a new game for Christmas - Wii skiing and snowboarding - using the balance board.   Should be fun.   Can't wait for Christmas so  I can play!   Maybe I can teach my cats to play.   

I don't have a Wii because that is exercise and exercise kills. 

I probably should get one, my skating coach has one and loves it. She plays soccer and bowling. I can barely balance on two feet much less a balance board. Is that like one of those balance balls?

I think you would like it, JSM.   You must have good balance if you can skate!   I can't ice skate worth a crap!
The board is big - like 15 inches X 24 inches or so.   Its big enough to balance on while you exercise or play games.

The last time I played a video game was so long ago, one Christmas we bought the kids somekind of video game system with Mario Bros games. I have no clue, and when you are getting your azz beat everytime by a 6 and 8 year old, I figured and told them when you are my age, you are not to play video games  They believed me, so that ended that. Even my husband had no clue 

Same here No Rose, I can't play a video game for the life of me. I guess I am too old. I used to play Pong on our Atari way back when I was in High School. 

I have played PacMan and was it Miss PacMan, I sucked at that also. And then I get frustrated like a little kid and toss the device and go to another room. I am no good at games, and that includes board games except for Candyland, I'm good at that

yes - it has a scale and it is always wrong.  It weighs me about 30 pounds lighter than I really am.       That's why I like it.

Hey Trimm! I'm just about finished with the 10 page paper that is due at 11:59 tonight. It will be the first paper I've handed in on time since about July, when all this other carp started. I've been berry berry good about staying on task today, but I just HAD to come and see what the monkeys were up to. Loved the story about shopping on Black Friday, my sisters and I used to do it like that. Now, I pick one store and try and talk myself out ofit. This year, tho, I will have to go to Target, they have the Lego's my grandsons want. Darn little buggers, they get me to do the damndest things!

Good for you. Good luck at Target, my husband just went to Walmart, they will have 500 tvs available of the one we want, and the lady said we have to get in line at 1am, and they hand out somekind of ticket/wrist band for what item you are there for. To heck with that, my husband is now going to order it online Walmart and have it sent to our store for 70 dollars more.

No Rose, that sounds like a good idea. I wouldn't be caught dead out at 1 pm standing in line at Walmart for a TV.  Not after I have seen the People of Walmart website.

You're cracking me up.    First of all, I totally suck at Pac Man.   But some of the other games are fun.  You just have to find the right games to buy.

I tried one of those balance balls one time and rolled off it and my hair was caught underneath and I couldn't get up. I think balancing on skates is easier for me because I am moving not standing still.

I can only play Trivial Pursuit. I have a head of useless knowledge. My mom came to my office today to wait on her ride and she had some history quiz on her cell phone and was asking me the questions. I answered most of them correctly. She was puzzled how I knew how many people John Wayne Gacy was accused of killing and what killer was friends with author Ann Rule.
