There will be no electric knives or very dangerous knives, I ordered two nice turkey breasts from the deli, only my husband and I eat turkey, and we like the breast only so that was the way to go. Though believe it or not, I'm making stuffing, biscuits, green bean casserole, mac and cheese, and pumpkin bread. I bought the pie and cool whip.

NoRose that sounds like a wonderful meal!  I will be up early cooking tomorrow but we aren't eating until 5-6 so I can take my time and not stress - I like eating later for that reason alone.  an angelic monkey
We are eating at 1 pm at my moms. I will go to the grocery store before I go to her house and make deviled eggs and green bean casserole at her house. That way I don't have to mess up my kitchen  I called and made sure she has jellied cranberry sauce, not that whole cranberry stuff. I like the kind that plops out of the can and wiggles on the platter.

I like the wiggly kind too.  You are funny
My mom made this homemade kind of cranberry sauce one time, barf it was so gross. Give me the wiggly kind anytime!!

JSM I wanted to ask you last night, you mentioned Josef and ice, does he like ice a lot or is there another reason for him having ice. Once I put some ice cubes in Zoe's water because it was so hot, and she was afraid of them
He likes to lick ice cubes in a bowl, he has done it ever since he was sick and wouldn't drink water. Now he would rather eat ice cubes than drink out of a water bowl. Crazy dog.
That's cool, and why Zoe is afraid of ice cubes who knows?
I don't know why she would be afraid of ice cubes. Dogs are funny that way though.

Seeking Justice for Caylee

Ok Monkeys I just got done listening to Susan Boyles new CD "I dreamed a dream" and i have to say it is beautiful - she has Christmas on it too.  You can listen to the entire CD at LaLa.   an angelic monkey
If I heard right, she had the biggest number of CD's sold, by far of any CD ever sold on Amazon.
I believe it because it is really very good - definitely easy listening music when you are in a mellow mood.

Note - unless you want massive frustration do not buy a xbox360.  My son's died and I have been trying to get it sent it for repairs.

First call to customer support - 17 minutes on hold, got an agent that spoke so poor English could not understand.  Asked to be put through someone in north America and they hung up.

Second call 27 minutes on hold.  Got lady in Philippines who did not listen to one word I said, got her supervisor who told me he was in Washington DC but accent was not right.  Told him I did not believe him.  He was no help as there was a a loud party in the background that he kept putting me on mute so he could be a part of it and could not hear me when he unmuted me.  I got his boss who told me he sat right next to party dude and when I asked what the weather was like in DC he said they were not in DC they are in Philippines.  (dude 2 lied).  I asked 5 times to be put through to someone in north America and he said that the microsoft laws did not allow that.  I would have to keep calling in to the support number till I got lucky and hung up.

Third Call. I have now been in the queue for 28 minutes waiting for support person to answer.  Crossing my fingers I get someone in north America.

Wii has much better customer service!

I can only imagine.    Especially when if you have Thanksgiving memories where the weather is cool.   When we lived in Tampa, it was 90 degrees one Christmas and it seemed so strange.   We took the girls to the beach - which are really white and pretty on the Gulf of Mexico - and videotaped them singing  "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas"  while they played in the white  sand.

I should note - second call was 1 hour and 33 minutes long before the third dude told me to keep calling "till I got lucky".

I am still in the queue and it has been 34 minutes for call 3.

OMG - that's as bad as calling the cable company or the phone repair.
Sorry you're dealing with that.    No wonder you are stressed.    Hugs.    an angelic monkey

This sounds like the last time my husband called for help with our computer, the person you could not understand and my husband kept looking at me to try to decipher. Maddening.   Sassy there is nothing worse to me to have Thanksgiving and Christmas in the heat. It is depressing. Last Thanksgiving it was cool and so was Christmas. So I'm still hoping for a cool, rainy Christmas.

When I lived out in Lancaster back in 85 - the weather was always so warm.    I think we got snow flurries only one time in 3 years.
