Okay, I am posting again over here so I don't get the button. I hope I have edited out all the bad words, but this was my rant at Rifqa's. I will not post my thoughts over there because I don't want the button.

I have reported on many occasions on the number of death threats Rifqa Bary has been receiving from Muslims bent on enforcing the death penalty for apostasy. I spent some time last night with a former Muslim and now a believer in Christ. Safeyia was a young, lovely woman, much like Rifqa, who spoke of the terrible difficulties apostates face. Safeyia came to Texas for "An Evening with Pamela Geller". Safeya lives under a fatwa her uncle issued on her.

It just reminds me of Sarah and Amina Said that were brutally murdered by their POS father down the street from where I live all because they were dating "Christian Americans". I don't want what happened to these to precious girls happen to Rifqa or her be deported to Sri Lanka and killed there. She should be given asylum if she is here illegally, but sadly her case is in the hands of a justice system that believes Islam is above reproach.

Oh No, JSM This is a religion of peace, isn't it? No, those posts are the true face of the so called religion.  An innocent young girl who felt a need to become a Christian and she must be killed for it.  Peace?  Yeah. Sure.  Honor? Uh-huh!

Further down on Atlas Shrugs, about the Ft. Hood terrorist attack, I found a sentence which sends cold chills down my spine because it describes what we are now doing.

"Would Patton recruit Nazis into his army?"

The Army seems concerned that there might be a backlash against Muslim soldiers in the US Army because of the terrorist attack.  IMO they do not need to be in our Army.  Period. Our Army officials need to worry about attacks by Muslims, not attacks on them. When have we ever attacked the Muslims in our country?  When have they attacked us?  Anyone keeping score?

I also liked the idea that we should bring our soldiers home from the sewers of tribal warfare.  For Obama to leave them there without reinforcements is to condemn them to death, one by one. Our war is here in our own country.  Isn't the National guard supposed to guard the nation? The war is on our own shores.

Schools are closed and there is voluntary evacuation starting at 7am.......I wasn't going to even leave until I heard Jim Cantore is headed here those cane's follow him everywhere he goes so we will leave tomorrow.

Play Me, I'm Yours-Street Pianos Coming to a Town Near You

Imagine walking down a street and coming across a piano that has a sign, 'Play me, I'm yours!'
 
This summer you could sit and play at various locations in London where 30 pianos were found in skate parks, launderettes, train stations and other public spaces. ‘Play Me, I’m Yours’ is the inspiration of artist Luke Jerram, presented as part of the London Festival and Sing London. The pianos became a spontaneous expression for everyone’s creativity and a catalyst to connect with strangers through the power of music.
 
The project has been rolled out in many other cities across the world, including Sydney and Sao Paulo. One of Luke's earlier projects that didn't get off the ground was the launch of the Sky Orchestra – a hot air balloon that would fly at dawn over the city of Birmingham broadcasting classical music.
Since the pianos appeared, thousands of passers-by have been given an impromptu invitation to perform. The instruments have become a playful reflection of the communities in which they are embedded. “You have no idea the positive impact it has been causing in our community,” exclaims Fabiana from Sao Paulo. “It amazes me... the power of the instrument, the magnetism it generates among people. Those beautiful pianos are self-esteem boosters for the everyday worker who doesn’t have access to this kind of stuff.”
 
It was estimated that around 250,000 people in London either played with or listened to others playing on the pianos. “The response has been amazing,” Luke said. “I even saw a woman in her wedding dress playing on Millennium Bridge!”
Luke tracked each instrument’s journey through the Street Piano website, created so that the public could post comments and describe their experience. “Next stop will be Bristol in September and we also have future projects in New York, San Jose and Columbia,” he announced. “By the end of the year, I will have installed 130 pianos around the world!”
 
When the piano lids go down for the last time, each instrument is given a new home in local schools and community centers.

Good Morning SASSY. My son has just gotten everything paid off from the last ones. I hate that he and his family live on the water, but they wouldn't have it any other way. They are pedicting landfall right on the Alabama/Mississippi border, the worst place as far as he is concerned. Hopefully it will die back when it gets to cooler water.

KILLEEN, Texas —  The Army psychiatrist authorities say killed 13 people and wounded 29 others at the Fort Hood Army Base Thursday was a recent and frequent customer at a local strip club, employees of the club told FoxNews.com exclusively.

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan came into the Starz strip club not far from the base at least three times in the past month, the club's general manager, Matthew Jones, told FoxNews.com. Army investigators building their case against Hasan plan to interview Jones soon.

"The last time he was here, I remember checking his military ID at the door, and he paid his $15 cover and stayed for six or seven hours," Jones, 37, said.

Hasan's presence at the club paints a starkly different portrait of the alleged killer from that offered by his imam and family members, who have described him as a devout Muslim, and one who had difficulty finding a wife who would wear a head scarf and would pray five times a day.

Starz is a strip club located just down the road from the main gate entrance to the Fort Hood Base. It does not serve alcohol, but customers bring their own beer and liquor and buy ice buckets and mixers at the club.

Hasan sat at a table in the back corner of the club, to the left of the stage on which strippers dance around a pole, employees said.

Jennifer Jenner, who works at Starz using the stage name Paige, said Hasan bought a lap dance from her two nights in a row. She said he paid $50 for a dance lasting three songs in one of the club's private rooms on Oct. 29 and Oct. 30.

"I remembered his face because it was the first lap dance I [gave] to a customer while working here," she said. "When I saw his face [Friday] on TV, I jumped out of bed, I knew it was him."

Jenner, 31, said Hasan was dressed casually both nights he came to the club - in jeans and a T-shirt the first night and then wearing a baseball cap the next. She recalled that he arrived at about 6:30 p.m. and stayed until 2 a.m. She said he brought in a six pack of light beer, took only a few sips from one can and gave the rest to the strippers.

"He preferred the blondes," said Jenner, whose hair was dyed blond at the time. "He said he was a medic and that he was being deployed soon, but mostly he wanted to ask us questions."

"He asked us why we were working at the strip club, if we liked the lifestyle, if we had any kids," she said. "It was right before Halloween so he asked what our kids were dressing up as. He just wanted to know a lot about us."

Jenner said she asked Hasan why he liked coming to Starz instead of another of the roughly half a dozen other clubs nearby, all about an 8-minute drive from the Army base.

"I like it here because no one I work with is here," she said Hasan replied.

Starz is smaller than most of the other clubs, has only about 10 dancers and caters to a louder crowd. Jenner said Army medics generally don't hang out at the club.

"He wasnt too loud like some of our other customers, or sleazy. He didn't try to take any of us home and he was respectful," she said. "I think he mostly came here to kill some time and just relax. He stood out here because he was much more reserved than our other customers.

"I just can't believe that he's the one who killed all those people. You know, he tipped every girl as she came off the stage after her dance. He was a really good tipper."

Fanny - I hope it dies down too.   That is a beautiful area that your son lives in.   I wish I lived there.  The beaches are so pretty.  I spent some time down there when we were stationed at Maxwell AFB.   Loved it.   Actually, I loved Alabama and cried when we left there.
