I did not either - the story has a PICTURE of them deep fried!   

Is that the thing that is stuffed in the packet inside the frozen turkey?  If so, I have touched one before.

Hey Bud's Girl, hope you had a good Thanksgiving. Sorry you don't have turkey and dressing for breakfast. I will share mine.

Thanks!   My husband just said he'll make a pan of chicken and cornbread dressing for supper tonight.  Was my mom's recipe & he makes it way better than I do.    His family has turkey & stuffing, way different but still yummy.

Bull testicles    I was grossed out just taking the bones off the turkey breasts, I made my husband do that. 

I don't like touching bones either. I made a turkey one time and it was just awful. I did touch that stuff in the packet and it grossed me out. Now I don't know what part of the bird it is, but if it is what I am thinking I will never eat turkey again.

  I almost did that too, but for some reason I read no the turkey bag to take it out.  I let my mom handle the turkey from now on. My stepdad is going to deep fry the next one. Guess it won't be for Christmas though.

I use antique ones too, but the led are supposed to use less electricity and burn brighter. My BIL's company does Christmas lights for all the fancy pants houses in Dallas and surrounding areas. I would ask him to get me a deal on lights, but he would probably charge me more than Walmart would.

I guess I am going to have to get my butt up and think about what lights I need so I can make a list. I hope Walgreens lights are still on sale. Same here Bud's, if one goes out, I don't have time to fool with finding which light is out. They go in the trash. I go and buy new ones. I don't decorate a tree, just my balcony. I'm sure they can see my apartment from the space shuttle.

I'm going to Walmart, Michaels and Joannes. I can't keep my butt out of those stores  My dad sent us money, and I went on Walmart.com to pick out what we wanted and read the reviews for each item, that way I'm not running willey nilley through the store. I'm getting a new coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven and phone. I have antique appliances so now it is time to get new ones. Then later my daughter and I are going to Target, she buys so many tv show dvds it isn't funny, and they have a big sale going on. I'm going to look for some old movies, I watched some Doris Day film last night that my daughter bought me, and tonight The Long, Long Trailer, which is one of my favorites.

I know, and then here if no matter if they are out for a day or a week, they get cobwebs on them so I have to sweep them off before I take them down. Ecckkkk

The first year we had Zoe, my husband decorated the patio and yard with lights, next thing we knew Zoe ripped them all down, and was running around with a strand in her mouth, we were lucky they weren't plugged in. We never decorated like that again back there

  I just don't get some of these MP threads I just read. First off in Haleigh's. Her mom wants Bobby to tie her up? WTF? Nothing about her being sad, lonely her baby is missing at Thanksgiving. I hate the Holidays, I lost my Grandmother two years ago before Christmas, she was in Hospice begining of Thanksgiving. I get really down this time of year because of that. If my kid/dog was missing since February I wouldn't post on MS I wanted to be tied up. I would post how sad I was not having my child with me on this special occasion. Then Morgan's family saying there is "nothing of her at our home"? When I went to college, everything of mine was at my parent's house except the clothes I had a the dorm. That statement just seemed strange to me.
