The first year we had Zoe, my husband decorated the patio and yard with lights, next thing we knew Zoe ripped them all down, and was running around with a strand in her mouth, we were lucky they weren't plugged in. We never decorated like that again back there 

  That Zoe is a mess. I'm glad they weren't plugged in either.

She also took apart one of the kids stuffed animals and was chewing on a battery, thankfully she didn't get sick. But she hasn't done stuff like that for years. She would get a hold of a stuff animal, and take it's eyes out, we figured she didn't want to be stared at 

Josef goes for the eyes first, then the stuffing. He has stopped that too ever since he had his stomach pumped from eating a stuffed animal. 

Poor Josef, Zoe never ate the stuffing, just that we would have stuffing all over the kid's rooms. And she was very sneaky how she got a hold of things.

I just don't get some of these MP threads I just read. First off in Haleigh's. Her mom wants Bobby to tie her up? WTF? Nothing about her being sad, lonely her baby is missing at Thanksgiving. I hate the Holidays, I lost my Grandmother two years ago before Christmas, she was in Hospice begining of Thanksgiving. I get really down this time of year because of that. If my kid/dog was missing since February I wouldn't post on MS I wanted to be tied up. I would post how sad I was not having my child with me on this special occasion. Then Morgan's family saying there is "nothing of her at our home"? When I went to college, everything of mine was at my parent's house except the clothes I had a the dorm. That statement just seemed strange to me. 

I know, I questioned who Bobby was  I get confused with some of the things Morgan's family says. They are very spiritual, so I figured some of their comments were because of that. 

I haven't read all of Morgan's family's posts. I know they are spiritual, so that may be what they meant. It confused the heck out of me. Nothing more so confuses me than Haleigh's thread. I still don't know all the crazy people that are in her family.

Hi Monkeys. There's an echo in here. I hope everyone is having a good day. I guess since TRIMM is shopping along with everyone else, I will have to say ROLL TIDE by myself.

I went to Walmart to buy two sets of blue net lights. They don't carry them at my store. So I bought three sets of multicolored, thought I would have a change this year.  The second one I took out of the box, half to the lights don't work. It says on the package if one light burns out, the others will work. Well that is a bunch of baloney because half of it lights up and the other half doesn't. I have a 2/3 of my net lights up and I am mad now. It was strange, when I opened the package up, it looked like they had already been undone because the others came out in a tied up clump and these just fell out of the box untied.  I'm drinking a beer now and not going back to the Walmart today.  I will take them back tomorrow and they better give me an exchange.

They will give you an exchange, just the lines for that is nuts. That sounds like stuff I buy, just to bring home for it not to work  Target is done. Just figuring out what Christmas decorations I still need, found two brand new wreaths, and four snowman wooden signs, that were behind a cabinet in the garage, so that was nice. Now I'll go to Joannes and Michaels, I think Walmart will have to wait until tomorrow.

I woke up to a bed full of pressies! I thought hubby had gone Christmas shopping and forgot I was in the bed and put them there to hide from me. LOL

He came back when I awoke and told me happy anniversary. Nov. 27, 1997, we met online in my help channel on IRC. On Nov. 27, 1999, we met in person in Canada (he is Canadian.) On Nov. 27, 1999, he came to VA to live with me here. (We got married in 2001 in April.) But it's amazing that 12 years have passed since we met. Time flies! AND I love waking up to unexpected pressies!

Just wanted to share a little about me. I am not real good at that kind of thing.

  Now I have been calling the Walmart and asked for the Christmas light section. No one answers the phone. I swear if they sell out of the multi color lights by tomorrow, JSM is going postal. I wanted all my lights done today. (Gosh I sound like Trimm)  It was crazy in there today and I am not going back until tomorrow. I can't finish with the rest until I get the net lights up. Arrrggghhhhhhh. In the words of Nancy Kerrigan "why me, why me" 

Sorry for the rant, I may take a nap or something, I think my blood pressure is up now.

Sorry I know that my monkeys are going through worse things right now in their life than stupid Christmas lights. I should give thanks I have the strength and energy to put them up. Sorry again for the rant. Now I feel guilty.  I will shut up now and go take a nap or something.

I almost went to Target, but decided on getting the multicolored lights instead of going there. I am glad you found decorations that you need No Rose.  I love Michaels, I wish I had one close by.

I've been MIA, but did see Brandy's fine work just a bit ago. As you can see, I'm very happy with her work! LOL! Bob hasn't looked this fine since his WebCam Casual days!

Hope all had a fine Thanksgiving, I certainly did. Family, food and fun...and I didn't have to do a darn thing! Only downside is that's the day my hair ....uh...welll, let's just say I'm starting to look for my scarves. Of all the carp I've had to deal with, that was the worst. I've always been pretty vain about my hair. I say "was" cos I got over it. Next week I'll just have it all "trimmed" and be done with it! Think of all the money I'll save on conditioner! And the time I'll save by not having to blow it dry and style it. And remember, when it comes back, it'll be strawberry blonde. Oh, dear, I do wish our fashionista Dolce was here to tell me how to dress as a strawberry blonde!
