Hi Monkeys, its been few days but things have been so tough. We had to put sweet Luke to sleep yesterday morning. It didn't know it was going to hurt this much, my heart is torn to shreds! I miss him so much. 

Thanks to everyone for being here for me. I know many of you or going through tough times as well and yet you were still here to comfort & pray for me. Even though I don't know any of you, it means more than you'll ever know.

      QM, my heart is torn to shreds reading this. I know Luke is in a better place, and I just don't know what to say. I can't imagine the pain you are feeling right now. Just know you have been in my prayers since I heard he was sick. We all luv you QM, if you need to cry and let it out, we are here to help. JSM

I know that poem and website has helped so many people, but I just can't. QM try to take one day at a time, I know it is very difficult.

All caught up, haven't had time to post to each of you but I wanted to say thanks to all monkeys that would have pooled their cookie/beer money to bail me out if I got the button last night.

I am about to start running back and forth from my office to the waiting room, my step mom was in the preop suite and her surgery is scheduled at 11:30 and they are running early.

Thanks for all the prayers and Tevye no you are in my prayers Friday. Just remember, ask for drugs, drugs and more drugs and drink a margarita afterwards.

Coroner: 3 Killed, At Least 5 Hurt In SC Shooting

WALTERBORO, S.C. -- A young girl and two adults were killed and at least five people were hurt in a drive-by shooting in a small town, the county coroner said Tuesday.

The shooting occurred about 10 p.m. Monday in Walterboro, about 40 miles west of Charleston. Colleton County Coroner Richard Harvey said the victims were from Walterboro and were related to each other, though he did not know the relationships.

Harvey named the victims as 20-month-old Shaniyah Burden, Charles Kittrell, 45, and Christopher Powell, 21. Kitrell died at the scene and the other two in separate hospitals.

The shooting happened outside a small, beige bungalow in a neighborhood of compact houses along a side street.

Ginni Keeling, 22, who identified herself as a cousin of the family, said they often played cards and watched television in the front yard of the house.

"I've been over here since I was 13 years old. I ain't never seen anything like this," she said.

Family members told The Post and Courier of Charleston the victims were playing cards in the front yard when a car pulled up and opened fire.

Keeling said she'd left the scene about 15 minutes before the shooting with her two young children and she got a call from another relative at the scene, telling her about the incident.

Keeling said she had no idea what the motive behind the shooting might be. She drove one of the people at the scene to a local hospital because the person was hyperventilating, Keeling said.

No arrests have been reported.

Officers were looking for a black car with one headlight, Walterboro Police Capt. Ken Dasen said. He referred other questions to the State Law Enforcement Division. A SLED spokeswoman said she couldn't immediately provide details.

Teyve - are you going to wear a wig if needed?  If so, what do you have in mind?

I really don't want to wear a wig...I've never been big on fake stuff (so that mean no, I never stuffed my bra in high school!), but I might do the fake bangs thing. I'm thinking scarves will be more fun...who knows, I might actually develop a fashion sense?? Plus, it'll give my mates at school something to do, they can help me learn to tie the scarf in its most flattering style!

  I remember an aunt of mine would wear her hair in a scarf all the time - (early 70's) I loved that look!

Fanny, thanks so much for that link! I bookmarked it. I sew (not as much as I used to, but now I do have a granddaughter...) and have an electric and a treadle machine. I like the treadle best, it's medatative....but usually works best for big projects, like quilts. I kinda get into the whole foot action thing, and go a little further than intended! I'll use some of those patterns. Thanks!

A thread has been started for this little one. I can't figure out why she would be out that time of the morning. My mind is already thinking bad of this, I hope I'm wrong.
