I received this account of the de Vries program.  Again, it represents the opinion of the viewer only:

After the Range Rover confession, he did go to the police after he did know about the tape.

He didn’t answered different and difficult questions.  Dolpwhin Richardson and a KLPD were interviewed him after he did come to the police to talk about his lies.

 

He told the police guys, that he did invent his Range Rover story. They asked to him about to tell the truth. And come one with your proof. And the police guys told him I will show you the proof that you don’t tell your truth. And he did want leave the conversation.  And told anything is a lied and he want to be cool to tell lies and he told the police guys he is crazy. And after that De Vries told in the show after anything he did leave to Thailand and think he is gone from anything. But about OM want to investigate or they can condemn for the disappeared from Natalee Holloway.

Not quite sure what to make of this.  Joran denies everything in the RR that he said.  Richardson and a member of KLPD questioned him.  Apparently they did so in a rather hostile manner.

I asked for clarification and got it on who Joran was saying was crazy.  He is saying that he, himself, Joran, is crazy and not the policeman.

It was only a 20 minute long item. Not very interesting images.

OK, here are my notes:

PRdV compares the three subjects/persons of tonight’s show with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Among the three: Joran van der Sloot.
Joran is a man with two faces: a confessor in the car of Patrick and someone who a couple of days later reports at a police station to ‘be frank about what happened at the beach in Aruba’ (NOT!).
Feb. 3 2008 was Peters show with Patrick and Joran. (Footage of that show is re-aired.)
Next Joran makes a desperate move and reports at a police station.
Feb. 8 2008 a police interrogation takes place at the police. Present are a KLPD detective and an Aruban detective. He points to his ‘Aruban confessions’. Joran evades difficult questions. “I don’t want to talk about the NH case again.” “I just made up what I said to Patrick.” But these latest Patrick-confessions matched fully with police findings. Contrary to the Aruban confessions.
“Patrick insinuated things and drove me to tell these things.”
Joran bluffs that it was sturdiness what he told Patrick. But the detectives don’t take that. Joran again points to his Aruban confessions. But he has difficulties to remember and tell what he stated then. He can’t remember these lies.
After 20 minutes in the ‘confession’ a detective urges “Tell the TRUTH!!!” I didn’t come here all the way from Aruba for nothing!
Joran then appeals to his right to remain silent. But soon he points back again to his Aruban statements.
But a lot of that was proven to be lies, for instance:  the story that he took Natalee back to the hotel and that he left his shoes on the beach.
To Patrick he said that he’d dumped them on his way home.
Joran says that he willingly told Patrick lies. Among which: Daury. “That was just a name...”
Detective: ‘How can you prove that it didn’t go the way you told Patrick in the PRdV-tapes?”
After one and a half hour into the interrogation: “I didn’t tell the truth there!”
In the end nothing has come out of his latest ‘confession’ and he leaves the police station.

I’ll watch the video I made of the show and will correct my notes and post them here then. See you!

Yes, but that was not reallly interesting. They ask where is shoes were. But he answered I did leave them on the beach and told them I did told in my early intervieuw in Aruba on 2005.

I think maybe Joran was scared with people saying things to him in the streets and thought if he went into the police, it might cause people to stop bothering him?

Since it appears nothing too startling came out of the tapes I would guess that Peter (on his last show of the year) is letting Joran and the public that he is still keeping him in his sights.  Joran will always have to look over his shoulder.

I think he is still afraid to go back to the Netherlands.  Peter is keeping that fear alive by reminding people what Joran did.
