ARUBA: It's all about Natalee...we won't give up!

« Reply #560 on: December 16, 2009, 12:13:48 AM »

Are you bout ready for Crimmus?

No, I'm not.  No shopping done, no Christmas tree yet.  It will all be a whirlwind next week I'm sure!

That makes it fun!  I love the whirlwind kind of Christmas.
I have done it all but the wrapping.  I'm not that crazy about that part.

O/T

1.  I love getting the tree early..get it always on December 1st.  I normally can pick out a tree in 5 minutes.  We always get it at Lowes.  Takes me a couple days to get it all decorated.  So by December 3rd or so the tree and outside lights are all up.

2.  HATE to shop in stores.  Been shopping online for years and years.  Have 98% of all that done with some stocking stuffer items left.

3.  I LOVE TO WRAP, so just about everything is already wrapped, just need to finish the ribbons and will probably do that tomorrow.

4.  I normally make my dough ornaments every year but I can't get motivated so will likely pass on it this year.

Good for you Klaas!

When my boys were younger we made and decorated dough ornaments too, and then for years we made cinnamon/applesauce gingerbread boys/girls to put on the tree.  They smelled sooooo good!  I just don't have the counter space I used to so I don't take on those projects as much anymore.  But they sure were fun!

I have some that I made 10 years ago that are still in great shape.

I found another mention of Natalee in the Dutch Parliament papers.

These political reforms would be an opportunity to correct the

given the limited detection capabilities of the search on

Nope, not a thing!

Maybe they're waiting for him to finish all his public speaking appearances.

I'm still mad about the article with him speaking at that art exhibition, when the article was in Amigoe weeks ago that the investigation is complete, but there has not been any word about it since!

Seeing him public speaking like that is just the same as  to me!

I agree with Beth, he's corrupt to the core of his being.

I know what you mean billb, I wish there had been more too.  But I'm trying to remember that a million people tuned in Sunday night and were reminded of the arrogance of Joran Van der Sloot, this time with law enforcement.  They saw and were reminded of Natalee, and I'm sure many of them had seen and heard his disrespectful disgusting dialogue about her in the previous show.

I wanted more, but I'm thankful for Peter DeVries and his willingness to keep reminding his audience that there has been no Justice for Natalee in Aruba.

I won't give up hope, and I'll be patient too.  It will come!

I keep hoping with exposure of Joran and his smug arrogance that somebody who knows something is going to get their fill of him and rat him out.

Can always hope that happens, anyway.

Hi Anna!  I love Nutcrackers, I add another to my collection every year.

I won't be getting them all out this year, not with the Jack Russell chewing monsters! That's one reason I haven't been in a hurry to put the tree up.  We were talking about it the other day and my oldest said he wouldn't be surprised if we found one of them in the top of the tree!  I'm trying to teach them manners but they have very short attention spans right now!

It's not just right now honey.  My mom has two - a male and a female.  Male is 9 yrs old, female is 4.  Both are still terrors.  Monkey Devil!

Good Morning, Monkeys!

Afraid she is right, TMom.  Jack Russels are just special that way.  The Westies I used to breed are sort of like Jacks on tranqulizers and I had one at age 9 jump up in a window and pull the blinds off to see the lawn mower.

But Westies couldn't jump anywhere near as high as Jacks so I could put things up high and their short little legs couldn't make it, lol.

Have you seen the Christmas trees that you hang from the ceiling?  For real, they have them now.

I had a Cocker Spaniel named Harry that was the best of all Christmas dogs.  He loved Christmas
and would literally scream with delight when I started to get out the decorations every year.
Harry never bothered any of the decorations or presents unless the present had his name on the tag.
He never touched a thing with any other dog's name on it.
I think he could read.

Yes they do but I've been making them since the late 70's and people expect them now each year.  My problem is my darn sister has a million grandkids and just the thought of making one for each wears me out, LOL.
