Looks like a bad day for the Canadians, Geese folks, I'm about as American as it gets, and I totally understood what Kat-Gram was saying.

What's wrong with a U.S. Marine stereotype?

Geese.

My favorite military quote:

Yea, though I walk through the valley of death,

I fear no evil,

For I am that meanest Mutha in the valley.

That's a Marine.

Carnut, I have to agree. I read all of what was said, and I'm confused about how the original remark caused so much upset. When I first read it, I didn't see anything negative at all.

Ditto.

Quote from: "Sam"
Knight In Shining Armor by Jude Deveraux

Abandoned by a cruel fate, lovely, thoroughly modern Dougless Montgomery lay weeping upon a cold tombstone in an English church. Suddenly, as if in answer to her prayers, the most extraordinary man appeared.

He was Nicholas Stafford, Earl of Thornwyck...and according to his tombstone he had died in1564. Tall, broad of shoulder, attired in gleaming silver and gold, he was magnificent. Drawn to his side by a bond so sudden and compelling it overshadowed reason, Dougless knew that Nicholas was nothing less than a miracle: a man who would not seek to change her, who found her perfect, fascinating, just as she was.

Yet she could not imagine how strong were the chains that tied them to the past...or the grand adventure that lay before them....

Thanks, Sam!

Whichever you want, blah. And please don't feel obligated to use it. It won't hurt my feelings at all if you don't. But you're welcome to!  Wink

Klaas and Altruist,

Thanks so much for transcribing the Skeeter, Deepac video transcript.

What a dissapointment to read that. I know Skeeters is not a professional photographer bu it seemed to me that left a lot to be desired. Also the way he talked to Deepac did not sound to professional to me either but maybe he was trying to talk down to him because of the language difference.

To be clear, we didn't transcribe it.  It was already transcribed over at Scrux.  We simply copied and brought it over here.

Sure. I had one about reincarnation about a year ago, and some of the posts were very interesting.
