IMO, Yahas is a moron who should be ignored.  He likes the attention, makes him feel important.  He's as important as that occassional fly that gets in your house, I don't give him a 1st thought never mind a 2nd thought, his words are NOT WORTH READING.

AZ, We are going on a cruise the 23rd to some of the ports you named. Maybe our ships will be in one of the ports on the same day.

Yapperz, you are?  We are on the Grand Princess going out of Galveston on the 23rd?  Do you think we might be on the same trip?

Peaches ~ Hopefully, the minute the cyst is *taken care of*, your pain will diminish.  Glad your next chemo is after the big day ~ take care, and I always anxiously await your postings after you've had a treatment ~ want to hear that you're okay!

I'm back!  Looks like I get to have oral surgery this Thursday a.m.  I screwed it up today because I went in having drank coffee.  As I'm sitting there with the nurse, I see her eyeing the Diet Coke.  So today he just poked around and banged on my teeth.  Nice.  Stopped by my regular doc's office for some pain pills and some prescription for my hubby.  So I need to make a pharmacy trip now too.  Great.  Anyway, I'm okay for today.  I think I have enough pain meds and Advil to last me until Thursday.

I think Deepak really did  everyone a favor by filing this suit, that is, if he actually pursues it.  Big difference between filing and following through.  Discovery isn't cheap.  Depositions aren't cheap, especially if you opt for video which would only be smart here.  I'm trying to be patient.  I really am.

Peaches, good luck with the teeth and surgery.  I hate, hate, hate to have my teeth worked on.  I'll be thinking of you.

I agree that Deepak did everyone a favor filing this suit.  I hope he has some backing to encourage him to follow it through.

The "Ain't She Sweet" link in my sig is a link to my husband's chorus on  YouTube.  It's from a few years ago but it's fun to watch nonetheless.  Especially for BT because I always try to connect with her when I'm in her neck of the woods for singing stuff.

TY for the great link, Peaches. When will you be in my neck of the woods again?

What I am wondering is if the kalpoes US lawyers will represent
them in teh wrongful death suit or if they will have to hire lawyers
for that case

Yuhas is an idiot and his words are crap.  Nuff said.

Tamikosmom, I proposed the exact same theory as to the origin of the two lawsuits last Friday.  I agree.  It's the only explanation that makes sense other than the 2K's have totally lost their minds and are so greedy that they can't think straight.  I don't think either has happened yet.  I believe the 2K's traded asylum in the US and escape from an Aruban jail term in return for their testimony that will sink the van der Sloot ship.  I'm glad to hear someone else came to the same conclusions as I felt I was whistling in the wind when I explained this here last week.

I'd be surprised if the lawyer who signed the filing defends them in the wrongful death suit.  She's an insurance specialist.

Tamikosmom, the 2K's will be facing a civil suit here with no possibility of jail time as they would have in an Aruban trial.  This is the only way the Kalpoes were able to plea bargain their testimony for their freedom as the Dutch do not allow plea bargains.  So, telling the truth in Aruba would have just put the Kalpoes in jail along with the rest of the perps.  Personally, I think it is a brilliant plan and JQK is a brilliant strategist.

Well my thought is that this current suit these lawyers took the case
based on what they possibly would recieve in settlement..
If they have to hire other lawyers for wrongful death they will need money
I dont think a wrongful death lawyer will take this case Pro bono

No, of course not.  No lawyer will defend a wrongful death suit pro bono.  However, I do think all these details have been arranged already.  Check my other posts.

Klaas, can you give Yapperz my email so she can write to me?  Yapperz, if you will email me, we can compare itineraries and see if our paths will cross. That would really be cool! I'd love to meet a Monkey!

To our beautiful Lady Peaches, I do hope that everything is miniscule, just a cyst that can be aspirated and you will be fine.  Ah, 'tis the season.  I recall your having gone through so much last year about this time, but how courageous and what a spirit you had and still do.  I know it is discouraging and Christmas is certainly a time when we do 'not need this,' but I trust it will all be over so that you will have a wonderful 2007.  We all love you and cheer for you and applaud your courage and faith.  You remain "my hero."

I am praying for you and wishing the best of years in the one upcoming.

Thank you so much.  You touch my heart.  (I use that beautiful rose as my desktop at the office.)

Peaches, I am just now reading this. I don't know what's going on, but please know that my prayers are with you, and I wholeheartedly echo Tylergal's most adequately worded sentiments. You are an inspiration to us all!!!
