HLN just played the 911 call. I'm sure they'll replay it every half hour, I need to listen to it again. One thing that stood out was when dispatch asked how much Shaniya weighed the POS mom said she didn't remember.......Does that remind you of anyone....Does MC come to mind???

I don't know about anyone else but I have 4 kids and I can't remember their shoe sizes let alone how much they weigh.  And if I do remember by some off chance I usually give the wrong childs size because I get confused.  I just pray I am never in a situation like that, and I mean from a point that I did not cause, because I guarantee you I will never cause the kind of situation that Shaniya was in.

I wouldn't know for sure, but I'd make a guess at it.

It would seem if you really were concerned and wanted a child found that you would give as much information as possible...........and if you didn't know for sure you could make a pretty good guess about how much your child weighs.......

Police say they're looking for body of 5-year-old Shaniya Davis
THE FAYETTEVILLE *******, N.C. | Mon, Nov 16, 11:57 AM

At a press briefing at 10:30 a.m., Chance said people have been turning out in droves to offer help but no more volunteer searchers are currently needed. She said civilians who want to help can call the police at 433-1820 to volunteer.

Meantime, the State Highway Patrol issued a 'be on the lookout for' advisory this morning, saying that they're looking for a man who had been spotted with Davis. The man is believed to be about 60 years old and driving a blue Toyota, according to an official with the Highway patrol. He may be in the vicinity of Raeford Road or Cliffdale Road.

Chance said police are following up any and all tips but are still concentrating their search for Shaniya on Walker Road.

At a press conference at the search site at 9 a.m. today, Chance said police had received some tips.

She said Mario Andrette McNeill, who has admitted to kidnapping Shaniya and is in custody, has been "extremely uncooperative" but has given some information to police.

Chance said McNeill is known to frequent Sanford. He was arrested Thursday after being identified as being with Shaniya Tuesday morning at the Comfort Suites hotel in Sanford. The two were seen on a surveillance tape at 6:11 a.m. Chance said police know McNeill left the motel with Shaniya at about 7:30 a.m. but they don't know what condition Shaniya was in at that point

If AD was in on it all WHY did she make the 911 call at 6:53 AM reporting the kidnapping of her daughter?  According to the following ... Shanyia was still alive at 7:30 AM.

Could it be that someone inside the house that did not have a clue what was going on noticed Shanyia missing and ... following a quick search around the home pressured AD to phone 911.

More charges expected in North Carolina girl's deathBy Gabriel Falcon, CNNNovember 17, 2009 1:09 p.m. EST

"The investigation at this point indicates that Shaniya Davis was alive at the time she left the Sanford hotel," police said in the statement Tuesday.

At the very beginning of the 911 call it sounds like she says her name and that the address is 1133 Sleepy Hollow Drive.  Did anyone else hear that?

If this is the same Clarence Coe - yes:

http://www.aegis.com/news/wsj/2004/WJ040103.html

One patient who has had to wait is Clarence Coe, 24, a Fayetteville, N.C., construction worker who had to forgo his treatment on another AIDS drug combination for more than two months. He started getting treatment while in prison, where people receive free health care. But after his release, couldn't afford to continue it. He didn't have health insurance and the state wasn't taking new patients in its AIDS Drug Assistance Program, so it put him on a waiting list. Mr. Coe says he took multivitamin pills and cut down on fatty food while waiting for the antiretroviral medicines. "I can't afford to stress my immune system any more than I need to," he says.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to say that I am fairly new here and I appreciate all of your opinions and wisdom. I started following this case when the story was first reported and have been comsumed since. I had the feeling right from the start (as most of you did) that it would not be a happy ending and I'm sure more shocking evidence will come out.
With that said, I will say I may not post much (until I can the hang of it) but you can bet I'll be reading all of your informative posts!

"snippet"

Cumberland County Schools officials said Shaniya was a kindergarten student at Morganton Road Elementary School until October, when she was taken out of the school and wasn't enrolled elsewhere. No reason was given for the move.

A search of court records turned up no previous criminal charges against Davis, but she has been investigated by the Cumberland County Department of Social Services.

Her uncle, Michael Davis, said DSS looked at her with regard to her 7-year-old son, not Shaniya. The case was closed, and Antoinette Davis was able to retain custody of the boy, her uncle said.

DSS Director Brenda Jackson has declined to comment on her agency's involvement with the Davis family.

Antoinette Davis worked in the kitchen at Carolina Inn at Village Green, an assisted living facility in Fayetteville.

CES, a South Carolina-based staffing company that has a contract with Carolina Inn, hired her in June 2008 after an extensive background check, an official said. She had a good employment record at both Carolina Inn and the Haymount Nursing Rehabilitation Facility, but she is no longer employed by the company, the official said.

Wasn't McNeil supposed to work at a Nursing Home too?
