I don't know what to say...I am so sad right now. It is not looking good they will find this little girl alive. At least there has been an arrest. It must have appeared she was alive because it's kidnapping he's charged with. Kidnapping charges are usually for people that are alive right? I wish we knew what time he left. Could be, (dont you love that game, could be) Shaniya was walking out, maybe that is how the feces was on the porch? She could have been afraid?

Prayers she is alive somewhere. Until they find a body, there is always hope

first degree kidnapping is kidnapping with the intent to harm the victim or hold the victim for ransom...

Thank you for posting. It is also for a live person, right? So the witness must have seen her walking out or fighting with him.

i'm not positive if it has to be a live person or not.  i think at this point they had clear evidence that he took her from the mobile home (this would explain why they didn't check the septic tank for shaniya as they prob knew all along that he had moved her from the mobile home)...

they prob arrested him with the kidnapping charges so they could get him into police custody and put pressure on him to reveal her location. i believe his arraignment was today at 2pm so hopefully we will get some information soon!

I would sure hope so, or if not that her sibilings and her are placed with decent people.

Me too, but something is up with all these lies, if the child was safe there would be no reason to lie, so that tells me something!

TAMPA | Wildlife officials say they spent hours searching for a monkey on the lam in the Tampa area and couldn’t locate the animal.

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the monkey was first spotted in a tree in a residential area late Wednesday morning. Investigators gave up the search early Wednesday night.

Authorities now believe the monkey is hiding near a local park, but it is unclear if they will continue looking for the primate. A commission spokesman says officials will decide whether to suspend their search for the animal, member of the macaque family, on Thursday morning.

The spokesman says investigators aren’t sure where the monkey came from.

I've been doing chores around the house, and I just  stopped to check the forum.  I went to a couple of other threads first, even though my mind was on this one.  A feeling of dread came over me as I clicked onto Shaniya's thread.  It's like I'm almost afraid to look, to know what happened after reading about the conditions of the home and the history.   It doesn't look like anything new has been reported yet.   I hope there has been no evidence indicating Shaniya isn't alive.  I pray she can be found alive and hope she can have a better and different life than the one she's had.      Praying for Shaniya.

I wonder if little Shaniya was awaken from her moms bed and put on the couch so that this POS could get in there and she started crying and trying to get back in the room/bed...and the boyfriend lost his temper?

It seems as though the bf/gf and drugs are always involved followed by a screw up on child services part...too sad.

And if you are renting and the sewer backs up why would you not call and have it fixed ? It would be free????
