I'm wondering if Shaniya's mom sold her?

I think it is a custody issue. She probably has had the girl hidden so dad can't see her. We haven't seen hide nor hair of the mother on t.v. begging for the return of her daughter but we have seen the father and clearly he is distraught.

Yes, she was definitely alive, I saw the photo of the video they were showing.  She looked good.

In one of the articles posted today it said the Mom had moved in the trailer with her sister several weeks ago and Shaniya had moved in about 3 weeks ago. Wonder where she had been before that?.

call me a weirdo, but for some strange reason, I am not thinking that the boyfriend is the guilty one here....I could be way off on this, but it is just a feeling that I got while listening to him during the video that was on tv....Mind you, I am not convinced of it, but just a feeling....
did the mom do something to the child and she is framing the boyfriend cause she was pizzy about something with him? who saw him with the child? was the child really even with him? if so, why were the little girls clothes still at the home?  is he covering for the mom? he doesn't seem the type to take the fall for anyone....too many questions here that is for sure...
what do you all think about the boyfriend? I do think that he looks mean and spiteful but I have my doubts...but they must have some sortof proof right or they wouldn't have arrested him....

  Cookie, I can't believe it!  I felt the same way, so did my husband.  I feel like he is just too easy of a target due to his past.  On the other hand, like you I'm sure they have some type of proof.

thanks K! that is the best news ever!  where did you see the photo at? can we see it too? I watched the video finally...sounds really promising! I don't think that this guy will harm her...seems the LE don't think that he will harm her either...he may be wondering what to do with her now...she might have been taken over a drug deal, to scare the mom? Dad seemed really distraught!

Klaas, thank you for that photo of Shaniya! no shoes on...and he was carrying her...she didn't appear to be frightened, but who knows..she may have met this guy before...

I am still lost. I am not trying to throw cold water on this, but she was alive at 6:11am on Tuesday morning and this is Thursday night. Why does LE think she is well taken care of and still alive. Is it because he doesn't have abuse of children in his background. It seemed to me he had violence in his background. I don't understand. Help me!?

Yes, they need to clean up that video.  It goes for a long time prior to them actually discussing the case.  You can scroll until it starts.  The photos they show of the perp and of Shaniya are at the very end.

I really think that this guy will turn himself in with her and that she will be ok...He would be really nuts to hurt her now after everyone has seen her with him imo....
