I think this case has completely broken what was left of my heart. It started breaking with Natalee's case, and now I think it's finished into a million pieces. This is just so horrific and unbearably sad that I almost can't stand it.
This beautiful child, even if she is found alive, will never have the life she deserved.

All of the adults in her life have failed her. I cannot understand the Dad's decision to allow the mother to have that much unsupervised time with a vulnerable little girl, given mom's past history and lifestyle. He could not be that naive if he's the type to have one night stands, and since he apparently knew the mother had some serious problems. What on Earth was he thinking? This child was only five years old, and she had no way to protect herself in her Dad's absence, and the mom had no one supervising this extended visit. No one to hold her accountable for the child's welfare in all that time. It was a recipe for tragedy.

I am beyond angry at everyone involved. May they all rot in hell.

I need to get off the computer and get ready to take the kids out.

Prayers for you sweet baby girl, may the angels protect you and keep you safe until you are found.  an angelic monkey

Monkeys friends, please say another prayer for a little baby boy, just 17 months old, found today near Berkley, CA. He was a beautiful child with eyes that warm your heart.

I stand with the girl, Natalee Holloway.

"I can look back over the past 10 years and there were no steps wasted, and there are no regrets,'' she said. "I did all I knew to do and I think that gives me greater peace now." "I've lived every parent's worst nightmare and I'm the parent that nobody wants to be," she said.

After day of intense searching, no signs of 5-year-old Shaniya Davis

SANFORD - After spending most of Sunday scouring woods and swamps for 5-year-old Shaniya Davis, investigators say they still don't know where she is.

The search in southern Lee County, seven miles south of the hotel where the girl was last seen Tuesday, was called off for the night around 5 p.m. The search will resume early Monday morning, according to a Fayetteville police spokeswoman.

Since Sunday morning, dozens of lawmen along with residents of Walker Road combed swamps, creeks and woods. The road - across N.C. 87 from Carolina Trace - is roped off with crime-scene tape.

A Highway Patrol helicopter was seen flying overhead. By 3 p.m., several all-terrain vehicles belonging to the Sheriff's Office were hauled into the area.

Residents of the few homes along Walker Road said they helped lawmen in a search this morning.

When I looked at the Comfort Inn it is only a 3-4 story building if that is the one.

I just wonder if Antonette took out a Life Insurance policy on Shaniya?  more runaway thinking...were she and MAM were going
to split the money from the policy?  The medical issues sound very real, also, L.I.P. would make sense for this greedy mother.
