Someone on another site is saying that is a picture of them leaving the hotel.  That the picture shows a 3 on the elevator side?  Do you guys see that?

Almost looks like a 23 to me:

After catching up in here the minute I saw this picture, the thought that came into my head was " a lamb being carried to the slaughter" . It's vile and sick, drugs alone don't make a person do something like this, this child was surrounded by evil the minute her father left her there.
I'm angry and sad and horrified.

OT I have to go see my mom in the hospital.  She got this cold going around - not Swine flu and got a hives type rash that has turned into encelphilitis or staph?  Anyway if you guys get a rash don't scratch!  Sounds funny but her leg is awful.  Blown up and red.  Nasty!  First time she's been in the hospital in 40 yrs and she's a wreck!  Check in later.

Was it Comfort Inn, Sanford?  I like to be sure so I don't misdirect anyone.

On the second viewing of NG on Friday night a guest on the show said Comfort Inn Suites Sanford and I posted it right than cuz it was the first time and only time I heard it.  Maybe in the transcipts?  I didn't look, I just remember NG was gone for the second show.  10pm est.

I think this case has completely broken what was left of my heart. It started breaking with Natalee's case, and now I think it's finished into a million pieces. This is just so horrific and unbearably sad that I almost can't stand it.
This beautiful child, even if she is found alive, will never have the life she deserved.

All of the adults in her life have failed her. I cannot understand the Dad's decision to allow the mother to have that much unsupervised time with a vulnerable little girl, given mom's past history and lifestyle. He could not be that naive if he's the type to have one night stands, and since he apparently knew the mother had some serious problems. What on Earth was he thinking? This child was only five years old, and she had no way to protect herself in her Dad's absence, and the mom had no one supervising this extended visit. No one to hold her accountable for the child's welfare in all that time. It was a recipe for tragedy.

I am beyond angry at everyone involved. May they all rot in hell.

totally agree and I said about the same thing earlier..Dad really messed up and if he feels bad about it, he SHOULD! he let this baby down too....If she is found safe, none of these people deserve her imo...

pdh3? I know exactly what you're saying and how you feel. I'm with you in heart and soul. I didn't think there would ever be a case that could break my heart like Natalee's did, but this is so tragic. She's 5 years old! How can either parent just give her away? I'm sure her Dad didn't know what he was giving her into, but that's the whole point: HE DIDN'T KNOW, but he did it anyway! Her MotherF knew and I realize that makes her more culpable, but whether it's due to lukewarm concern or blatent evil, both are responsible and both are accountable and I hope he lives every second of his life carrying the burden. I hope MotherF dies with it, and soon!

called 911 after POS perpetrator had intercepted child at final destination because she sold Shaniya into the sex trade ...Did she owed McNeill money? This makes me sick to even think about...

I just saw a very clear shot of this on my local NBC news. It was a 13. I am going to make a wild guess about this. I have stayed at Hampton Inns, Comfort Inns, Days Inns, and they are all owned by the same company and are pretty much the same. I seem to remember if you stayed on the first floor, your room number would start with a 1 and then your room would be like 1102. If you were on the second floor, the room numbers would be 1201. On the third it would be 1302. So my guess is that they were waiting for the elevator on the 3rd floor leaving. JMO

Police will continue search for missing girl Monday

SANFORD, NC (WTVD) -- Police said they will continue a search of the Highway 87 corridor from Spring Lake to Sanford Monday morning. Fayetteville police confirmed Sunday that they were searching on the ground for a missing 5-year-old girl. Chopper 11 footage showed dozens of officers and a Fayetville forensics truck on the scene Sunday afternoon.

Officers were searching Sunday near Walker Road off Highway 87 in the Sanford area.

Sanford is about 40 miles north of Fayetteville. Police did not say if they were looking for a body or if they hoped to find Shaniya Davis alive.

Witnesses told ABC11 Eyewitness News they saw officers searching a ravine in that area at around 10 a.m, Sunday. A State Highway Patrol official confirms their helicopter also aided in the search.

I can't stand to look at that Waste of Space holding that sweet little girl. Shaniya is simply a commodity to him.  She seems sad and kind of numb to me....I see the look of a victimized child on her face.
God help this sweet little baby, because no else in her life did until a stranger working in a hotel had the sense to make a call to LE.

I am just beside myself. This is literally making me ill.
