Why NG says that the father did not know about the mother's addcition to maihuana....when the father's teen daughter told NG that she knew that she smoked pot.... and the teen was not to close to her...

After listening to the father, his sister, his children, friend, and ex father -in-law I know longer feel sorry for Shaniya dad.. The father apparently having 5 children who he does not seem to have the time or quality time for them.. His father-in-law, Brad friend who now has taken in Cheyenne were willing to take in Shaniya then let her go live with the druggie prostitute and her trash of friends but Brad disregard the safety and well being of his daughter and let Shaniya go... What was going on in Brad's life to make this uncareing , selfish decision? Why would he not let Shaniya go to his friend's home or his ex Father-In-Law home? Apparently  brad you weren''t even checking in on Shaniya because you stated you did'nt even know she wasn't attending school..I have to agree with the father-in-law and say to Brad .. Shaniya would be here today but she isn't because of your hasty, careless, selfish, unloving decision to let her go live with the trash...This is something you will have to live with every minute of everyday of you life..

Interesting dad has domestic violence charges in the past.  I think we're going to learn much more about ole pop.

I feel the sorriest for the Aunt.  She had children of her own to think about or I bet she would have done whatever it took to get Shaniya out of that situation with her egg donor. . . including taking her and leaving the area.  Hard to do when you have little ones (or even highschool aged children) of your own.

I'm afraid you may be right about dad.

If that is dads house he is standing in front of I wonder if he feels guilty  that he lived in a very nice home while Shaniya lived in a mobile home backed up with sewage..I really do not see how he will be able to sleep at night

I may get banned for this but it's my opinion. It's seems like your on his jury, he's being tried and convicted, without proof. Since when do we convict on hearsay? This devil manipulated him, bs'd him, until I hear different, I'll not put him on trial.  Do you know for a fact Brad knew Shaniya was gonna be staying at that sewage pond? JMO

Hi Penny,

I was really upset when I wrote that comment about the father..
We as parents are to suppose to make the right decision for our children as they are too young to make a decisions ... To protect them, guide them and keep them safe.. Shaniya was safe,healthy, she had Carey take great care of her, Shaniya was getting blue stickers for her doing good in school , smiling and happy, she had love and  a foundation.. Why would the father take a chance and let the POS have her .. Just to let her be a mother?.. I dont by it...

In an affidavit for a warrant to search McNeill's 1997 Mitsubishi Galant, investigators said McNeill told them he picked Shaniya up in front of her home and drove her to the hotel. Investigators also said they found feces smeared on the outside door handle of the front door to the home and on the handrail of the steps to the front porch.

Police recovered 11 pieces of trace evidence, such as hair and fibers, from the car, as well as clothes, a belt, a straw, a cell phone and a portable GPS system, according to the search warrant.     That's new, I never heard that McNeill picked Shaniya up in front of her home.

IF true that he picked her up at the curb it will go directly to mom sending her out there. She's already said that she was up early, maybe she sends the poor baby out in the cold all messed up with the filthy blanket, MM gets a wiff of the stench and goes to the neighbors and throws the thing away. According to search warrangs, McNeill admitted taking Davis from the front of her house to a hotel in Sanford.

It is unknown at this time what McNeill's connection is to the child, police say. April Autry tells NBC17 that she is McNeill's girlfriend and is friends with Shaniya's aunt.

McNeilll was on unsupervised probation when Davis went missing. McNeill has been charged multiple times since 2001. The charges include assault inflicting serious bodily injury, possession with intent to sell marijuana and cocaine and with maintaining a vehicle for drug use and hitting a police officer with his car

    she deserves it!   I always head back to Caylee's thread, safe among all that mostly are united in belief of her guilt and the family insanity!

High emotions in here, so much blame to go around. I guess we all allow a rock bottom expectation for the pimps and druggies and abusers but it's hard to reconcile that a well dressed, well spoken, professional guy could be so lax about his child.

Did you guys see this article where it states the deer carcasses where in bags?  That means they were carried there and potentially touched/moved to place around Shaniya?

A dog trainer who helped look for the missing North Carolina 5-year-old says searchers overlooked her body at first because all they saw were deer carcasses in trash bags.

i read that earlier and it made me wonder if it was a clean up highway crew that just tossed the road debris in the woods after dder accidents on the highway... or possibly a hunter but why bag and leave your kill there... i do not think it was placed there around her on purpose but i do think she was placed there on purpose... maybe in hopes of animals getting rid of the evidence... around here it is all convicts that clean our highways... ones that are on good behavior and get to be on work duty and they get paid for it in prison... mm was in prison and according to the way the judge praises him he was on such good behavior on probation maybe he earned himself highway detail and remembered the dead animal ditch spot from then
