The Verdit and Sentence
It took the jury two-and-a-half hours to return a verdict of guilty of two counts of murder. Much against the protest of David, Susan Smith was spared the death sentence and received 30 years to life in prison. She will be eligible for parole in 2025, when she is 53 years old. David has sworn to attend every parole hearing to try to keep Susan Smith in jail for life.

Sunny I stand corrected. I just remember she would be eligible for parole and I was wrong about the year. . Thanks for correcting me.

I am looking for the video that Joy made that said she had pictures and video of the exact spot from Nov and there were no remains there.  Can anyone help me locate it please.  The reason I ask is the letter she sent that was posted yesterday states that she thinks Caylee's body has been there since October. 

So first no body there in Nov, then been there since Oct.   

I just want the first video saved that proves her story changes depending on who she is trying to impress.

It's fine to say you should stand by your kids and you should. I would stand behind mine come hell or high water unless they were hurting someone else.   I swore I would always protect my children. When my daughter was 3 her dad broke into my home in the middle of the night and took her from her bed. He took her to his home where his brother lived he was a convicted repeat offender. i called the local police, state police, DCF, and the prosecutors office they said he had as many rights as i did even though we weren't married. Our daughter didn't speak 1 word until the end of her fourth grade year. He had her for two weeks. They said something traumatic happened to her. Ya think. His mom hid my baby there from me knowing what her son is.

oh and note the only time Caylee's image appears is when it is shown on the cover of People mag. It's all about Joy and her lawyer and that dude in handcuffs.

Joy had to leave her son in the daycare at the courthouse just to get that letter done. Duh, can't you write a letter at home. I swear I did not even know you could write to the judge about a case. That should all be in her police statement lol.

Read this.........the judge does not read the letters, as it's not allowed. The clerk is required to file it in the case-file it relates to.

And the reason it is filed is so that all parties are made aware of it and there is no accusation of ex-parte communication.

Darla, I wasn't correcting you at all ....I too knew she would be eligible for parole at some time, but couldn't remember when and also remembered David swearing to be at every parole hearing to keep her in jail. So I was just checking it out.....IIRC he has remarried and has several children.  In fact, this case is what originally got me interested in crimes against children.

oh what a horrible event.....when did you get outta jail?....j/k of course.  But I am sure you had thought about murdering those pieces of scum!! I do hope your daughter has recuperated ( if that is even the correct word to use) from this trauma?
