Isnt Lyons being a little premature here?  Correct me if I'm wrong, but if a jury sentences Casey to death and the judge does not feel like the state met its burden of proof, then the judge can over rule the sentence right??

i'm thinking that in the long run she has a better argument in regards to the death qualified jury being more inclined to convict versus the argument that this particular case does not qualify as a death case.

OH!! She did NOT say that!!! OMG! She said, "I'm sure that the State will argue that this case is just horrible, when I sit down. In fact, every case is horrible, but this case does not meet the criteria for the horrendous nature qualifying it for the death penalty." (paraphrase)

WTH would she call a two yr old's MOTHER plan to include breaking her neck and duct taping her airways? Caylee was 2 years old and her MOTHER killed her! What exactly does Lyons call "horrible" anyway, other than lethal injection for a killer, that is!
