I've got a question.  If only one of the aggravating factors in introducing the death penalty is there, (child under 12,) isn't that enough?  Does there have to be more than one?  And if not, I don't get the relevance of arguing against it.  But then again, I'm not the "Angel of Death Row", either.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A prosecutor delivered a vivid description of how Caylee Anthony likely was killed during an emotional court hearing that left Casey Anthony in tears several times.

"As the killer looked into her face, maybe her killer even saw her eyes as the eyes as the tape was applied," a prosecutor said during the hearing, which ended at 11:45 a.m. "First one piece, then two, then three so no breath was possible."

The description came as attorney argued whether Casey Anthony should face the death penalty in connection with the death of her daughter, Caylee, whose body was found a year ago today.
Anthony's defense team argued to take the death penalty off the table as well as over several motions during the hearing, which began at 9:30 a.m. The judge withheld his rulings on most of them.
Anthony is in the Orange County Jail awaiting trial in 2010 on a charge of first-degree murder in connection with the death of her daughter, Caylee.

Anthony said a nanny took Caylee, whose remains were found in a wooded area near the Anthony home one year ago -- on Dec. 11, 2008.

    * As her attorney was arguing for the jail to turn off video during family visits, Casey Anthony started crying for several minutes.     * Prosecutors argued for the right to subpoena private investigator Dominic Casey, who worked for the defense during 2008. There have been questions about whether what he knows is covered by attorney-client privilege. Judge Stan Strickland told prosecutors they could issue an investigative subpoena.

    * Anthony's attorneys also argued to dismiss some of the check fraud charges against Anthony. The judge did not rule, but said he expected those charges to be handled before the trial begins on the murder case.

Why do I get the feeling this girl is way more upset the free world knows what she did, when she was perfectly ok with keeping it so herself.

That and she probably doesn't think a thing about Caylee when she is alone or previously when with friends.

Grrr...I was trying to respond to an email to a college buddy I've reconnected to after 35 years and listen to the audio of the hearing at the same time.

I got so caught up in memories, I totally blocked out the audio and only noticed when it ceased completely.

I just need to know if they are in recess or if the hearing for today is over.  TIA

What in the world does Casey get out of her eyes that requires such close scrutiny?  She puts her finger up to the corner of her eye, removes something and then she rolls it around between her thumb and forefinger to inspect it.  Just like when George blew his nose and Cindy and he closely inspected whatever came out.  These people seem to have strange things emerging from their orifices.

I love me some Jeff Ashton. I actually gave him a standing ovation and clap for speaking for Caylee.

I am going to need more than valium to get through a trail with Big AL. Geesh she just irrates the He?? out of me.I thought I would scream when she said that the state had no evidence that Caylee was tortured, beaten, or even knew that she was going to die. What a cold hearted Biotch. The baby was only two years old she surely did not do this to herself. I don't understand how she could stand up there and say there were no aggravating circumstances, Dear Lord, just the act of murder is horrific without taping Caylee's little face and head.

God bless Jeff Ashton, when a jury hears him make those same statements while looking at a picture of that sweet baby, Casey is done.

Hi Folks!  Lurker since the the very beginning.  Wanted to get your thoughts on my observation.  Not sure if this was already discussed... desperately trying to catch up.

Did anyone else notice Casey's reaction when Mr. Ashton stated the possibility of Caylee being chemically restrained?  Casey looked infuriated as if everything he was stating was true and that one piece was untrue and how dare he make such an accusation?  Baez quickly stopped her as if to say cool it.

By the way, you guys are awesome!!
