Obamacare – An Assault On The Working Class?  Loopholes for the wealthy?

One of the thing that strikes me about Obama/Pelosicare is it’s reliance on payroll taxes to sustain this new entitlement.

It is paid for on the backs of hardworking Americans.  It targets those who provide jobs and an engine for our economy.

It also provides loopholes for the wealthy, unions, and politicians.

How much more will Nancy Pelosi’s wine business pay?  How much more will Wall Street pay?  Will Nancy’s business pay for all the poor folk?

Big companies, and wealthy individuals may play shell games – Enron style.

Set up multiple companies, umbrella organizations, and prevent much of the wealth from being accessible to the taxman.

Someone like Nancy can shelter any income she makes from these new taxes.  IIRC, she has free gold standard healthcare provided by taxpayers.  I would imagine, any business entity that gives her paycheck is free to offer the best most expensive private or public plan.  It’s easy to offer the best, the gold standard plan when you know no one will take you up on your offer.

IIRC, it’s the fact that BUSINESS/EMPLOYERS MUST OFFER a plan or face the tax axe.  If you offer and no one takes you up on the offer, you’re off the hook.  Your business is safe from the hordes of poor folk.

Nancy could pay herself billions under some business shell and not have to pay a penny to support the poor.  Same with Wall Street.

Who are the ones that have to pay for all the affordability credits?  The poor?

Is it a broad tax supported by everyone?

No.  IIRC, it’s a tax on the working classes.  Small and medium sized businesses.  Not only do they have to provide for their own employees, they must kick in for the affordability credits too.

Will all those businesses with who pay under the table pay more too?  Probably not.  If you’re not on the books, how will the taxman know you exist?  Will your employees pay more?  Probably not.  If they have no reportable income, they will rely on programs for the poor like Medicaid, and affordability credits.  Their entitlements will be paid by small and medium sized business, and the working stiffs that pay taxes.

What about those businesses that make millions on unreported workers?

Does anyone ask them how they make millions with just a few workers on the books?

Hmmm…you run a busy restaurant with just six employees?  Who washes your dishes?  Waits on tables?

Hmmm…you run a busy landscape business, live in a million dollar house and cut 10,000 laws yourself?  When do you have time to enjoy your home and all those cars and trucks?  Hmmm…you have ten trucks in your business and only five employees?

If you’re a business, the government wants to make sure your run your folks through E-Verify and keep a document file.

Do they ever ask owners how they make money or afford their fine homes, cars, trucks, and bank accounts?

Do they ever check the Social Security numbers of children on public benefits to see if they qualify based on their income?

There is something wrong in America when illegal aliens get a bountiful market basket of benefits and the American Dream for free, and the rest of us, citizens and those here legally have to pay for it.

Another loophole for the wealthy and politically connected – keeping your children on the policy until age 27 and paying the same low rates as folks with small children.

IIRC, the rates for families are subsidized by those paying single rates.

It seems to me, that at puberty, ‘children’ start requiring all the care that adults receive.  They get screenings, have babies, and big people related expenses.

When does a family consist of more than one or two adults?  Under Obamacare.

Is it fair for single working people to subsidize families of adult children?  Say a family insurance unit that consists of maybe three or more adults?

Why aren’t these families paying the adult rates for their adult children?

It seems like the adult poor without families get the shaft.  The children of wealthy and political folks get a free ride.

Only the best for our politicians and their families.  The rest of the working stiffs get the shaft.

Why isn’t Congress in a rush to change government healthcare to model the public option?

Congress doesn’t have to force themselves to switch…they just have to change their plan to model the plan they want to give as a Christmas present to Americans.

Maybe the American plan isn’t good enough for global politicians and citizens?  Just for Americans?

Why are they giving money to maintain the union VEBAs and not promoting the wonderful public option?

Oops!  I forgot.  Obama is the SEIU.  He’s an old union guy.  He has to look out for his union brothers and make sure Americans pay for global healthcare too.

No jobs for Americans.  We have to broadly share American hard work with others, and bankrupt America.

It doesn’t matter how hard you work in America, Obama wants you to have nothing, a big ZERO.  He wants to give away all your hard work, savings, and secure retirement to people who haven’t worked.  It’s the Obama way to death and destruction for a nation and it’s finest working people.

If it’s good enough for the public, why isn’t it good enough for government employees and politicians?
