Basically what Kock was saying was that Kalpoes should sue Dr Phil but Beth and Dave should not sue Kalpoes because, well, they're Aruban and that makes them special.  Normal rules do not apply to Arubans.  They are exempt from meeting the norms of civilized behavior by reason of their Arubanitis.

They aren't missing and are all too present, etc. but still, they are Aruban and so naturally victims and special allowances should be made at all times since Aruba is such a special place.

Outside all that is irrelevance, to them. Except for when they fly to Holland and find all the places there that let those activities go on. That makes them feel right at home.

If we understood their system, we would be overwhelmed by the brilliance of the Kock statement and how he put the ayrian nation American bigot slave owning hitler decendants in their place.  He is now the most sought after attorney in the "kingdom" and they are creating a national holliday in his honor.  They are already making a movie about it called "The Ousting of an American Tyrant".  Paulus is the director, Anita costume designer, and Joran will still be the villiage idiot, aka- waterhead.

I know there has to be many many Arubans who have worked very hard all their lives, etc. but I have to wonder if all the outside money, massive development with other people's money, sort of went to Aruba's head in a manner of speaking.

They had it all just handed to them, was not their money nor their risk, etc. and while they may have worked very hard to get where they are now, it is not the same as actually doing it on their own.

Something surely gave them the idea they were above the law and above the norms and acceptable behavior.
