aaaaaaaaannnnnnnnddd...Paris Hilton wasn't exactly trying to stop that tape from getting out either. If you had a tape that showed illegal activity that you were trying to sell I'd be willing to bet a whole hell of a lot that it would only get to the people you wanted it to get to. (and I'm not talking about young kids here I'm talking about the big guns. And Freddie has connections to some big guns.)

Klaas, I've seen that cartoon with text. A caption that says something about asking about the boat trip at 3:30? or something. Maybe it was a monkey posting it. I'm sure it was on here, because this is the only place I read!
Actually, I saw it recently. That cartoon was being discussed within the last few days.

Whew! Mom made it through the surgery. Took out a good length of her colon and reattached as an ostomy. She may well be po'd over the latter, but she'll get over it! Muhahaha! The immediate danger of bleeding to death is over, thank God. I was afraid that this was going to be it, but she pulled through. That tough old bird is not finished here yet!

I'm not technical enough to know about transmissions, but I do remember that when Aruba banned filming on the island without a permit, the networks transmitted via cell phones.

Yes, we've seen those on all the cable news stations and I wouldn't exactly call them useable for much.

Ooops, and those aren't standard cell phone transmissions, they were highly sophisticated equipment transmitting thru satellite phones.

Watched serveral of those setup and used in the various war coverages in the recent past.

Nope, Vonage, Lingo, Skype all make use of wired connections of the internet.

Satellite phone transmission is a whole nother concept. Saw several times on FOX war coverage where the reporters showed what they had to do to setup their satellite phone coverage.

Again not talking about possiblities, talking about normal cell phone transmission of 8 1/2 minutes and pretty darn sure it wasn't a video of anything

Nothing wrong with demonizing the perps, they deserve everything they can get, just don't like theories taking away from the realistic possiblities.

Justins, I thought they might do that, only because a friend's father has just recently undergone the same thing. It was a result of diverticulitis (sp?). His recovery, after surgery, was remarkable. They honestly didn't think he was going to make it and went through a lot of treatment for infection, etc. before honing in on the problem. After surgery, it was a process, but all toward a good outcome from that point. You must be exhausted. Take care of you, too! HUGS!

Yes, they did and in real time.  Sort of jerky but no real delay and certainly not slow.

So could the 8 1/2 phone call been J on the phone with D while D was uploading the film on his computer....I'm saying while D is uploading the film NOT from his cell phone, D is on his cell talking to J WHILE the film is uploading or whatever...and J was talking to D saying "is it done yet? geese can't it go faster? we need to remember to say this and this and make sure Satish says that and that oh and my Dad is saying we need to do this this and this...is it done uploading yet? "
I could see him being on the phone with D for 8 1/2 minutes waiting for the film to upload.

I've got a state of the art Motorola Razr and know it can transmitt video and take images. But the quality is still far from reasonable from my point of view. Very limited use in my opinion.

Many times later the ostomy bag can be removed and the intestine reconnected some way or other these days.  Tell you mother these things are a possibility so she won't get too upset.

Maybe her dr will have some thoughts on that as well.

Yes, I did.  Looked like all cell phone photo or vid transmissions.  He did play it back for me and seemed rather pleased himself.

If they are good enough to read somebody's credit card number over their shoulder as is done all the time now, should be good enough for porn.

I don't know about the video.........I'm just not technical enough to have an opinion. I don't think there is any question that an 81/2 minute call between the two was all about Natalee and what had happened. I believe they were aware, at that point, that they needed to cover their ass and were already mindful of computer logs, and cell phone transmissions that would probably leave a trail. There was nothing casual in any communication they had.
