Think they will show the hearings live?

If it gets that far, sure. I think the O.J. civil trial (Cali) was aired live.

Well, if it ever gets that far..I'll be the one in the courtroom wearing a Scared Monkeys t-shirt, LOL  Laughing

Awesome Laughing

Would you really go Klaas?

Heck yes!  It's only about a 50 minute drive from my home.  Laughing

Edited to add:  If the court documents are correct then they expect the trial to last approx 20 days.  I wouldn't be able to go every day but would definately go for some of them.

Most likely they don't allow laptops in the courtroom.  Also, I don't know if I'd be allowed in although I imagine I can get a pass.  Not sure what the rules are.  I may have to go outside the courtroom to report.

Hello.

Good Nite Monkeys

I do have to wonder though~~
The good people of Aruba took to the street and protested Beth's use of the word "Criminal" and more or less demanded a public apology.

Will they once again hit the streets in protest  her for her choice of words in saying " hold their feet to the fire " meaning to be held accountable for their actions  when their  admissions of actions committed with / in behalf of a minor ...What  are Minor crimes here ((but  still crimes) ~~  (BUT maybe not there?))  have not been brought forward for ANY action !!!

This Chit runs so deep, deep,
You really have to wonder how HIGH up it goes.  Police force, Judicial System, Pri-Misinster office or maybe even something within the appointed Political Govenor's Office.

AnyWay

G'nite Gang
Best wishes for all

crazybabyborg between you, Anna and the other Good Monkeys, I'll be avater-ed out... love them tho!! Don't stop.

Here's some info from the Internet sites and my personal comments.http://www.lasuperiorcourt.org/
"The (Superior) Court, (County of Los Angeles), serves the 9.5 million people of Los Angeles County with courtrooms spread throughout the 4000 square mile County - from Pomona to Santa Monica and from Lancaster to Long Beach."  No wonder the traffic's bad.

Stanley Mosk Courthouse (this is what I have always thought of as "The Courthouse" and have been in there) Parking is very expensive and a bear! You have to get there very early and some of the parking is reserved for those in Court.
The OJ trial was held at this Court even though she was killed in WLA on Bundy (considered Brentwood) but still LA.

Central District Stanley Mosk Courthouse
(Civil and Small Claims Courts)
111 North Hill Street
Los Angeles, California 90012
(General Civil)

110 North Grand Ave.
Los Angeles, California 90012
(Limited Civil & Small Claims)

I don't know where Dr. Phil films; thinking it might be Paramount or NBC.. but not in Culver City (the Heart of Screenland) by the way... former MGM, then Lorimar, now Sony, et al including the very early Tarzan, Dallas, Knots Landing, the lady who swam alot et al. and down the street the Ince Studios of the burning of the mansion in Gone With the Wind and then the former area of the funny cops.

Hollywood Courthouse
5925 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028
This is the closest to Paramount Studios
Paramount is at 5555 Melrose Ave, Hollywood, CA. (323) 956-5575 These streets run parallel. Parking is a bear at both locations.

NBC Studios
3000 W. Alameda Ave. Burbank, CA
818-840-3538
This is the closest to NBC
Burbank Courthouse
300 East Olive, Burbank, CA 91503 t
Glendale Courthouse
600 East Broadway, Glendale, CA 91206

Central Civil West Courthouse
600 South Commonwealth Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90005 this is a tad east of Paramount, I think. I use to use it as a shortcut years ago.

Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center
210 West Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012

Airport Courthouse
11701 S. La Cienega, Los Angeles, CA 90045 too far south

 Central Arraignment Court
429 Bauchet St., Los Angeles, CA 90012

 Central Civil West Courthouse
600 South Commonwealth Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90005

 Metropolitan Courthouse
1945 South Hill Street, Los Angeles, CA 90007 (went with a friend who had a ticket there)

 West Los Angeles Courthouse
1633 Purdue Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90025 this was the closest to Bundy where Nocole lived, yet they had the JQK/Goldman case in this court:
Santa Monica Courthouse
1725 Main Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401
Maybe he was from Santa Monica. No I think his family lived in Redondo. Has better parking too and you can always part elsewhere and take a bus. Do not park in Sears!

Use your contacts please and find out which jurisdiction it will be in and then you can run the address under the Wi-Fi locators and see what is available.

Culver City has free Wi-Fi downtown but it won't be there! I am going to check on Santa Monica re: free wi-fi.. they are a very progressive city.

Hope this helps.

From the Superior Court of Los Angeles County site:

What Happens If The Plaintiff Does Not Show Up For Trial Or Does Not Want To Pursue The Case?

The Court may make an order dismissing the case and/or imposing sanctions.
