Hi 2nJ     I hope you're enjoying your birthday weekend.

Hi, Muffy.  I've been in and out of here today.  Thank you.  My weekend has been very enjoyable & I did some  last night.  Just resting today...watching a little football.

lol 2NJ - we made an early start with Birthday greetings for you in NAH thread - hope you kept the festivities going for the whole time.  Thanks for all you do for all of us.

Thanks, Tib.  I kept the festivities going until I ran out of fuel.  That's about NOW....

Here you go, some fuel you can pump yourself!

Oh dang, I missed CBB again!

Hi CBB!  I am praying for you and your son.  I miss seeing your smiling face.  How is he holding up?  What about you?  I hope you are getting enough rest.

Klaas, if I am out of line, just thump me on the head and that will be ok.

In the gratefulness candles thread, would it be possible to put the link about the person's case.  I know it has been done in some of them.  If you don't think that's necessary, again just ignore me.  It may help some know why the candles are there.  Just a thought (Like you don't have anything else to do).

Sister - that's a great idea!  If the forum weren't acting up so much today I'd start right away.  I'll work on it when the forum is more stable.  Today I'm getting kicked out (just like everyone else is) right and left!

Good evening Monkeys.

CBB, how is your son doing?  Hopefully he is getting better every day.  Hope you are taking good care of yourself also.

We had a few days of rather pleasant weather and now the bad weather is coming right back at us:

AS OF NOW... THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL WILL IMPACT SOUTH-CENTRAL KENTUCKY AND THE SOUTHERN BLUEGRASS REGION BETWEEN 10AM FRIDAY MORNING AND 10PM FRIDAY NIGHT. AT THIS POINT... THE LAKE CUMBERLAND AREA AS WELL AS LOCATIONS ACROSS SOUTH-CENTRAL KENTUCKY CLOSEST TO THE TENNESSEE BORDER WILL SEE THE LARGEST SNOW ACCUMULATIONS... NAMELY SOUTH OF A LINE FROM MORGANTOWN TO LIBERTY. THESE AREAS COULD POTENTIALLY SEE SNOWFALL TOTALS IN THE 5 TO 9 INCH RANGE. LOCATIONS ACROSS CENTRAL KENTUCKY AND THE CENTRAL BLUEGRASS REGION COULD SEE SNOWFALL AMOUNTS NAMELY IN THE 2 TO 4 INCH RANGE... WITH QUICKLY TAPERING AMOUNTS ACROSS FAR NORTH-CENTRAL KENTUCKY. AGAIN... MOST OF THE ACCUMULATING SNOWS WILL FALL DURING THE DAYTIME AND EARLY EVENING HOURS FRIDAY.

Wow.  I sure hope they don't know what they are talking about.

I hope you have plenty of provisions stocked up at the house, and don't have to go out too much, BlueMoon.  Hope you can stay safe and warm.

No provisions in the house.  Was off work yesterday due to being sick (got even sicker watching KC's court date).  Need to go to the grocery but can you imagine how many people will be doing the same thing?  LOTs for sure.  If we get upwards of 9" of snow that will be close to a record for us around here--4" is considered a lot.  It has been 14 yrs. since we got that much snow.  Our largest was 26" and that happened in the 1960's---I remember it.  The national guard was out clearing roads and going house to house checking on people.

Have a good evening Muffy.

I am trying to comprehend that much snow.      I'll be thinking of you, and hoping you stay safe and warm.  I'm concerned about your lack of provisions, since it looks like the snow could be there a bit.   Please keep us updated if you can.

The forum will intentionally be going down in a few minutes for some maintenance.  Just an FYI.  Not sure for how long.

We are supposed to get 2-4" here in Derby City. This one is going to be strange if projections are correct, folks will head North in Kentucky to escape the heaviest snowfall. I am ready either way, Blue Moon, and have plenty of extra room.

Some adjustments were made to the forum and you might notice something looks different or you can't access something.  Likely it's do to the changes that were made.

Hopefully the site won't go down as much!
