When my mother was alive she lived in Indianapolis and had earthquake insurance!

Where the one struck in CA is (if I remember correctly) has a small volcano under the surface out in the sea. It's been a few years since I researched it so memory is hazy.

So with that, I'll say that it's good to be back and goodnight!

IBE!! It's always so good to see you!  You're just in time to get dressed for Valentine's Day, too!

CBB, Hope you didn't get this snow. If it is girlfriends turn, rest while you can.

We have over 2 feet and working on 3 here in Virginia. Power went out about 3:30 this AM and we started preparing for the long haul. Trying to get a fire started in the fireplace (we never use it, but keep it clean and wood on hand just in case). Anyway the power came back on at 11 AM so maybe they were prepared this time. Keeping my fingers crossed. Don't mind being stuck in the house as long as we have power.
I keep saying I am going to get a generator, but this only happens once every 8 or 9 years.

Will try to post pictures later. Everyone in the path of this storm take care and be safe.

Just rain here, SuzieQ! I'm looking forward to the pictures............... 2-3 feet! WOW!! Stay warm and safe!

We miss you CBB. Just worry about how things are going. Glad to hear your son is up and moving.    I pray each day it gets easier for him and you. Glad to hear you get a little break this week end. Get some rest.

So sorry to hear about the sudden departure of the ex Ya DC is getting slammed big time. Hope he took his shovel with him

I usually keep the shovel when he's around. It gets pretty deep, real quick!   Monkey Devil!

No Shame: Obama’s White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel … “f—ing +++++++!”
http://scaredmonkeys.com/2010/02/03/no-shame-obamas-white-house-chief-of-staff-rahm-emanuel-f-ing-+++++++/comment-page-1/#comment-1945355

Thanks Red for bringing this to light.

My comment, if I may, there are others on the web who I have seen talk about this more eloquently than I:

::MonkeyDevil::People with challenges have worked too long and too hard to be ridiculed every time someone makes a mistake or does something that is stupid in our eyes.

Own your mistakes and failures, don’t compare yourselves to people who may very well be better at bowling, etc than you. Have you gone to any Special Olympic Games lately? Have you seen the changes in the education of people with challenges? Have you seen how hard they work? Why pick on them when you can’t do something right?

Don’t look now, your ignorance is showing and that includes the President. He should know better. He is supposed to be the leader, the one we look to for direction.

(I know the word does not show up, I hope I never have to type this word again, but I don't think you can view this article without it, where it says ++++++++, the word is r e t a r d e d).

He's really just too cute

he really is adorable......loves those sliders and the sun it seems

How nice of you to put those glass doors in for Petey, Klaas!! He seems to approve!

I notice all of your chairs face away from the house, Klaas.  There must be some beautiful scenery there.

I'm hoping the one he took with him is covering his hair and has the perfect imprint of his head on it.

This sentence made me giggle!  Little do they know--give them a preview and see if they can tough it out for the long haul!

We are praying here, under the snow, CBB!

SuzieQ stay safe.  I will be sending warm thoughts your way.

I tried to type this right after the other one but I was tossed out of the cage and thrown into the middle of a snowbank.
