PUPPIES !!!!
Mags - They are all beautiful! You are doing a tremendous job - what an incredible amount of work and joy.
My daughter and I are torn between Buck and Nola, you know, if we were putting "dibbs" on one...
I'll meet you in Tennessee and let you pick one.....or two

Daylight Saving Time 2010 - Time to spring Forward
<snip>
The official US Daylight Saving Time Schedule for 2010 begins on March 14
(That's this Sunday-tomorrow!!)
and ends on Nov.7. An easy way to remember to move the clock forward an hour in the Spring and then back an hour in the Fall is the little phrase "Spring forward and Fall back."

Message for mymonkey:
In Haleigh's thread, you said:
Quote
Never mind I just read the link...I can understand how they feel about stepping away...I ask myself that same question..I sometimes wonder if I neglect the real world because I am obsessed with these cases. It is wise I think to turn off your computer...hug your kids.and grandchildren...have a glass of wine and try not to think..."Where is HaLeigh" but I find it impossible to do that...these missing children and adults are always on my mind.
mymonkey
I haven't found I neglect the real world. As a matter of fact, it's made me much more away of what's going on around me and other places. I had no idea about the number of sex offenders out there and no idea how lousy our laws are when it comes to justice for the victims. After being here at SM, it gives me a whole new outlook. There is so much I wouldn't know if I only relied on the daily paper I read and the morning news. There are times some of the cases really hit home, when they are particularly brutal or sad. I remarked to Nut the other day "so many bodies, so little time". She agreed. It's sad. But it's reality. Sometimes it might be good to step away a little bit. I have always petted my dogs, told my kids I love them and I'm having a glass of wine right now. But there have been those days when I called up my son just to say "hi, I love you" after reading about someone else's son missing. You realize how quickly your life can change in a day or even less. Life is precious.

Thanks MuffyBee
How true the words you just wrote...I think its been a rough two weeks..and I just watched Chelsea's brother and what a great kid he is..as Chelsea's mom said she forgets to breath...if I was in her shoes I think I would forget to live. Your right life can change quickly and that is what scares me this can happen to any of our children or grandchildren. Thanks again for the words of encouragement, everyone here is so caring and considerate of other monkey's feelings..what a great group of friends to have.

Oh Magnolia The puppies are so cute. I think little Amos and Joe are so cute. I love the expression that Joe has on his face in the last picture. Anna looks like someone stamped a Y on her little face. They are going to be some very handsome and beautiful dogs when they grow up. By the looks of their feet they are going to be very good sized too. I am sure you are enjoying them very much even with all the work.

I was sitting at my computer this morning with my dog next to me and all of a sudden I hear a crackeling sound and then boom. I said hummm thunder. I went in my kitchen and my sister came up to have coffee with me and she looked out the window and said OMG a tree fell in the cemetary across the street. I said let me see. I go look and said wow that's a big one. I went to get my camera and go to my sister watch me just in case another tree falls
. She goes I'm not watching nothing and she continued to have her coffee. Here is one of the pictures of the tree that fell.

With all the snow we had and now the rain, I guess the ground is so saturated that they just topple over. Went out to the grocery store yesterday and saw 4 or 5 of them on the way. I couldn't believe it. Now I keep watching our trees.

Well here's another one for ya ... Klaas was right about why I was puking. See, the world doesn't revolve around you, even though you'd like it to, MT. Just yet another way you give yourself away.

Bud..
I really do not how to convince you that I am not who you think I am. I apologize if I made a comment that this was directed to me..but you have made comments about me and so therefore I thought this was also...no I do not think the world revolves around me. I do not know if you and MT had a disagreement or what happened...but I will repeat myself I am who I am and no one else...I wish one of the mods could verify this for you..I really want to get along with everyone on this forum.
Have a nice day.
