morning Seahorse..
the news has kindof died down lately about Tiger...probably a good thing for him..
I do think that Elin is so done with him...for her own self pride, I do hope that she moves on...nothing to say that they could not get back together after some years and some growing up by Tiger has passed...but I think that she needs this time to be away from him and to heal...what a horrible Christmas for him and her and the adults in their families..the little ones won't know...probably just another day without dad being there...
thinking back, Elin must be really resentful of the times that Tiger was away from the children, doing whatever he said that he was doing...a lot of wasted time that he could have been spending with his kids was spent on these women..what a waste...imo and now she knows the truth..each time that he couldn't get home for this or that reason, now she knows the real reasons..that is unforgivable imo...

Tiger Woods' tale: Adventure trail passes through Orlando club scene

By Shannon J. Owens, Orlando Sentinel

9:57 PM EST, December 19, 2009

Lady Gaga's popular song "Paparazzi" is blaring through the stairwell of a trendy downtown club as a wedding party heads toward a private room that Tiger Woods is rumored to have frequented.

The Oak Room at Club 23 in Orlando is one of the several venues – along with other clubs in Orlando, Las Vegas and New York -- to be associated with Woods' admitted "infidelity." The tabloids paint a picture of Woods surrounded by beautiful women in private rooms at clubs; according to TMZ.com, managers at Club 23 had a name for this space: "The Tiger Room."

And now, we all find ourselves part of this paparazzi mess.

As the tabloids began their frenzied search to link Woods to women who were not his wife, one also noticed a trend: Waitresses and "event planners" at nightclubs filled the list. One of the alleged mistresses, Julie Postel, worked in an Orlando nightclub called Roxy.

I spent a couple of days on Tiger's trail, seeking to sneak a peek into the private VIP world that may – or may not -- have been Woods' playground in Orlando.

Up first is Club 23.

Several minutes after the wedding party headed to a private celebration at Club 23, I walk upstairs to take a look. As to be expected on a Friday night, the club is filled with the 20-something crowd, smelling of smoke and alcohol, dancing to thumping techo club beats.

Beautiful bartenders pour what is probably one too many drinks for another customer. But they don't mind buying another $12 vodka tonic if it means speaking to the friendly, attractive women serving them.

The environment is sexy but not sexual. You won't find any sex in the champagne rooms here. In Orlando's low-key nightlife scene, you're more likely to find flatbreads and beer.

And it's not necessarily posh. Vomit is splattered across the floor until a manager leaps over the bar to spray disinfectant and have a staff member clean the area. He has already broken up two fights. All while dressed in an eloquent suit.

This is typical environment of your average nightclub. Tiger is not here tonight and will likely not be here any night soon.

On to another day, and another club.

Live jazz greets visitors as I pull up to Blue Martini near the Mall at Millenia on a Monday night. TMZ says this is one of Tiger's hangouts.

When I ask one of the customers if they'd seen Tiger here before, I was greeted with a chuckle.

"Of course, he comes here all the time," the person said.

Well, probably not now. I talk to four people, none of whom would give names. They'd all seen Tiger at Blue Martini before, having a drink, a cigar and, yes, socializing with women.

After all, clubs are places for people to socialize. What grown people choose to do afterward is by their own will.

The cover charge doesn't generally exceed $10, and if you arrive early, it's free. There is an outside bar, where customers watch game highlights, munch on appetizers and sip martinis.

Not exactly the Tiger "den of sin" some would think. Before the story broke, TMZ and the National Enquirer had probably never even heard of the upscale restaurant/club connected to a public mall.

The V.I.P (very important people, pockets or privacy) area is in plain view.

V.I.P isn't limited to celebrities living or visiting in Orlando. For a $200 bottle of Grey Goose and a reservation, anyone can enjoy the private space.

If you're looking for poles, moving chandeliers or something more salacious, strip clubs can provide that and more.

That is one of the reasons why club managers, promoters and customers are cautious about speaking about Tiger. No one wants to link Woods' current image of philandering husband to Orlando's largely tame night scene. The local nightclubs offer something quite different than private hotels, mansions or the back rooms of a strip club.

And if you believe what you read in the tabloids, Tiger's conquests extended beyond nightclubs and into pancake houses.

The reality is, venues like Club 23 aren't incredibly private spaces; if Tiger were a regular, patrons returned the favor by not bothering him.

Orlando is more like Cheers than Studio 54. The tight network of downtown nightlife is so small, in fact, that one company, Church Street Entertainment. owns the popular clubs Chillers, Antigua, Latitudes, Big Belly Brewery, Ember and the Rok Room.

It's not exactly a nightlife. It's more a neighborhood.

And the fact that Tiger may have been friendly with some of the neighbors is a reflection of him, not the venues.

Hi Cookie,

How are you?  I am enjoying winter sunsets. Elin is finished, I agree.

Yes, indeed, everything did stop on Tiger news...I read where also gambled money away...wow, when it rains it pours.

I think the snowstorm bopped him out of the news.  Mama Tiger is mad at him, according to reports, she really is fond of

Elin, loves her grandchildren.  Elin is just so dog-on classy, a nice dignity about her and very patient until you get her mad:)

Goodmorning Cookie,

I am fine Thank-you getting ready for a serious day:)

Transgressions, must be his agent who cooked up that word.

Thank-you for the TLC info, I hope to see TW, Million dollar wedding, IDK, if they have access to his wedding archivies, but, I would like to see wedding pictures, sometime nice, we know his dark side, I like to see something with a light to it.

Reports are Elin is confused as to leave or stay, I would be too, to take the kids from Daddy is a tough pill to swallow,
IDK what I would do Cookie. Tiger is a lump of coal, but, it's not Sam's or Charlie fault that he is a piece of coal:)

I would give him a year grace, so my conscience would be clear when I took off with the kids, I hate to have any bug my
soul.

Elin isn't being rash, good point...She just may make meatballs out of him, too:)

Elin's, twin sister, is an Attorney, maybe, her sister is advisoring her?

Kids are precious just when Charlie is saying Da Da, to tear him away is cruel, I do understand what Tiger did was cruel

to Elin, he is a monster serial poker:)  but to yank the children to Sweden away from that jerk may not be the answer.

Report: Tiger sails yacht from North Palm Beach

WPTV - VIDEO AT THE LINK ABOVE

December 21, 2009
Quantcast

According to a report in People magazine, Tiger Woods and a group of friends, including some golfers, have set sail from North Palm Beach aboard his yacht Privacy, perhaps searching for just that.

The magazine quotes an unnamed source who has seen the 155-foot luxury yacht as saying that Woods' boat Privacy has been docked at Old Port Cove in North Palm Beach for more than a week.

On Saturday morning, after stocking up on provisions from Costco on Northlake Boulevard, the boat left town. Another source tells People that Woods is going to cruise in the Bahamas for a few days after hanging around the Palm Beach Gardens area this past week.

The magazine says neither source had actually seen Woods, although tight security has been guarding the Old Port Cove Marina for more than a week.

Klaas,

People is also reporting the same...I am disappointed that TMZ, didn't catch this story, if it is true.

Neither source has seen Woods, although tight security has been guarding the Old Port Cove Marina for more than a week. One eyewitness reported that a limo arrived at the marina Friday, before the boat departed the next morning.

Why would Elin need ten police cars escorting her?

You know it's serious now. A 10-vehicle police motocade escorts Elin Woods out of her and Tiger's home in Florida.

And for days now, we've been poring over the details of Tiger Woods' mysterious late-night car accident. The pictures we've seen are of the golfer's house in Isleworth, a gated luxury complex in Florida. The owner of Isleworth is... Joe Lewis.

Woods' relationship with Lewis is extremely close. The very private superstar has described the 72-year-old East Ender (Lewis's first home as a child was over the Roman Arms in Bow, and he still speaks with a Cockney Cockney Bow Bells.

Each year, Woods plays in the Tavistock Cup The Tavistock Cup presented by The Citigroup Private Bank is a unique team event that pits the touring golf professional members of Isleworth Golf & Country Club verses their counterparts at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club. , a team competition centred on Lewis's two developments at Orlando: Isleworth and Lake Nona. Lewis is a keen, 14 handicap, golfer and he plays regularly with Woods, who is also a neighbour in Isleworth (Lewis's mansion there is modelled on the clubhouse of Augusta National, where the US Masters is held, except it's bigger. He has other houses dotted round the world, including his main home at Lyford Cay Lyford Cay is a private gated community located on the western tip of New Providence island in the Bahamas. Located within this community is the Lyford Cay Club. Both were founded in the 1950's by prominent Canadian businessman E.P.Taylor.  in the Bahamas).

When Tiger drops round for a heart to heart with his older friend, he can take in the Picassos, Chagalls and Miros that adorn the Lewis walls. According to according to prep.

1. As stated or indicated by; on the authority of: according to historians.

2. In keeping with: according to instructions.

3.  Forbes magazine, Lewis is currently worth $2.5 billion. But the City consensus is that his fortune is much greater. In addition to Isleworth and Lake Nona, his Tavistock Group is developing the Albany resort in the Bahamas with Woods and Ernie Els, and Harmony Cove in Jamaica.

He's got 50,000 acres of Patagonia.

He holds distribution rights to Puma sportswear, Vans trainers, Gottex swimwear and Bristol cars. Tavistock has Spurs and Slavia Prague football teams. It's got restaurant chains across America.

At Lake Nona, Lewis is building Medical City, a vast combined hospitalresearch-science park in conjunction with the University of Central Florida “UCF” redirects here. For other uses, see UCF (disambiguation).
UCF is a member institution of the State University System of Florida. UCF was founded in 1963 as Florida Technological University with the goal of providing highly trained personnel to support the Kennedy . His father died of cancer, and the cancer centre, the Charles Lewis Institute, is named after him and run by Joe's daughter Vivienne (he's married to Jane and they have two children). The centre's aim, in typically direct fashion, is "to use every available resource to defeat cancer".

In all, Lewis is reckoned to have controlling stakes in 170 companies around the world. And, while he's managing all that he still plays the currency markets, taking enormous positions from the purpose-built, round-the-clock dealing room at Lyford Cay.

Small wonder that in the City, the Boxer (so-called because of the similarity of his name to that of the late US champion Joe Louis) is regarded with awe. But he's not infallible. He lost an estimated $800 million on a punt on Bear Stearns -- building a 9% stake in the Wall Street bank just as the banking market turned. Bear Stearns' subsequent demise made him one of the biggest individual losers in the financial crisis.

He prefers to stay firmly out of the limelight. He doesn't court personal publicity and is always accompanied by bodyguards and tight security. His reticence, of course, merely adds to his mystique.

The family pub was bombed on the first night of the Blitz. After that, his father ran a cafe. At 15, Joe left grammar school to join him, working as a waiter for [pounds sterling]6 a week (he would lug (1) (Linux Users Group) A formal or informal organization of Linux users who gather together virtually or in person to exchange information and resources. Some groups maintain mailing lists and send out newsletters for their members.  the concrete bus-stop sign from along the road to outside the cafe to attract extra custom).

Lewis worked his way up through catering. His first venture was the Tavistock Banqueting Rooms, hence the use of the Tavistock name today for his group of businesses. Then came the Northumberland Grand, to which he gave a Scottish tartan theme. Spotting an opening, he created a new industry for London, the fancy dress restaurant aimed at tourists.

In quick order, he opened the Beefeater beefeater

He started souvenir shops as well, in the West End. He laid on buses to take the tourists from the shops to his restaurants.

He had the tourist trade -- or at least the tackier aspect of it -- sewn up. Then, almost 30 years ago, after enduring the mid-1970s property crash, he sold the lot. He pocketed [pounds sterling]30 million and moved to the Bahamas as a tax exile.

THE Bahamian establishment did not greet him with open arms: his first attempt to join the Lyford Cay Club on Nassau, where he lived, ended in failure. His response was to build a [pounds sterling]15 million mansion next door to the club that is grander than the club itself, with smarter facilities and better tennis courts. Needless to say, he became a member.

Being a rich tax exile is one thing; Lewis has since joined the world's super-rich. How he managed that leap, from the geezer who made a mint in London restaurants to multi-billionaire is not clear.

It's true, he is an obsessive and instinctive moneymaker. So there was never any prospect of him, at barely 40, sitting back and doing nothing. He was able though to use the cash he had acquired to stunning effect, plundering the overnight currency markets and wagering vast amounts on the forward price of the dollar, the mark or the yen.

Exactly how he did it -- and where he acquired the specialist knowledge (his wits would only have got him so far) have never been explained. He isn't saying. A lot of his success, he says, is simply down to "being in the right place at the right time". But no detail is forthcoming.

"Joe is fundamentally a gambler, and now he's playing in the world's biggest casino with no limits," is how an associate put it -- without saying how he did it.

On Black Wednesday, 16 September 1992, he was one of a handful of currency speculators -- another was George Soros -- who bet that the pound was overvalued Overvalued

Overvaluation may result from an emotional buying spurt, which inflates the market price of the stock or from a deterioration in a  and would fall as Britain tried to align it with the European currencies.

Sterling collapsed and the Government was forced to pump in billions as they withdrew it from the European Exchange Rate Mechanism. Soros is thought to have made $1 billion; Lewis may have made a similar amount. He later landed another huge windfall, betting against the Mexican peso.

Lewis plays his cards close and so do his friends, such as McManus and Magnier (McManus has been referred to as Lewis's protege). They and their pals are known as The Boys -- and are feared for their daring strokes and their rebellious refusal to bow to convention. They frequently pay lip-service to advisers, preferring to take decisions themselves.

At Mitchells & Butlers, Lewis has 23% of the shares, and the Irish racing pair have 17.5%. M&B suspects they're acting in concert and are trying to acquire control by stealth -- hence the sacking of the four directors it believes were representing Lewis and his friends. But these are not people who give up that easily. M&B has definitely not seen the last of them.

Wheel of fortune: Lewis started out as a [pounds sterling]6-a-week waiter but is now a billionaire despite losing a fortune in the collapse of Bear Stearns

TIGER Woods is reportedly yachting to the Bahamas for the Christmas holidays to escape the sex scandal firestorm while his wife Elin is said to be heading back to Sweden for Christmas with her family.

Woods, who turns 34 next week, launched his yacht Privacy from Palm Beach for the Bahamas at the weekend, with People magazine quoting an unidentified friend as saying that the golf star faced a deeply unhappy time ahead.

"He's devastated at everything he has lost," the magazine quoted a source.

"He will go through some dark times. It's going to be a lonely Christmas for him."

Both People and the Palm Beach Post reported the Bahamas as the supposed destination for Woods's yacht.

Woods has admitted cheating on wife Elin and at least 14 women, one for every major golf crown he has won, have claimed to have had affairs with the world's first billionaire sportsman.

Sponsors have backed away from Woods and comedians have made him the punchline for jokes.

Woods has put his golf career on hold indefinitely to work on his personal woes.

People also reported that Elin Woods, a Swedish model whom Woods married in 2004, will take the couple's two children with her to Sweden. Celebrity website TMZ reported Elin would not immediately move to divorce Woods but said she has been especially upset by the sheer number of affairs by her husband and two particularly painful relationships.

She was reportedly most upset about a three-year relationship Woods had with one woman and that he was with another woman while she herself was pregnant.

People also reported that Tiger's Thai-born mother, Kultida Woods, was "hurt, angry and disappointed" by her son, according to an unnamed source.

"She wants to know how he could do this to his family," People reported that the source said. "She loves him and will support him through anything but she needs some time to work through this. It was devastating to her.

"She likes Elin, adores her grandchildren. She's worried about them. She doesn't want to see them hurt."

Possible avenues for Woods making a return to the public were also reported.

Former tennis great Boris Becker has said he sympathised with Tiger Woods, who is taking an indefinite break from golf after admitting to infidelities.

According to the Bild newspaper, the German said during a taping of the Beckmann TV show to air on Monday that he was surprised by the "dimensions and frequency" of Woods' alleged affairs.

Tiger Woods and Rachel Uchitel are 'still an item'

Article from: Agence France-Presse

TIGER Woods and a New York showclub host have resumed their relationship, says a report which insists the scandal-plagued golfer is still sleeping with Rachel Uchitel.

In Touch magazine reported on its website on Tuesday that Woods, who turns 34 next week, has been seeing Uchitel, 34, in Florida near where his yacht ``Privacy'' is docked.

Other reports say Tiger is heading to the Bahamas for Christmas while his scandal-fatigued wife is returning to Sweden.

The magazine, quoting an unnamed friend of Uchitel, reported Woods is still involved in a sexual relationship with Uchitel, who was in the same Melbourne hotel as Woods when he was there for the Australian Masters last month.

``They have been sleeping together the entire time since the scandal broke,'' the source told In Touch. ``They hooked up in a condo she has been staying at in Palm Beach.

``She's madly in love with him and she believes that he loves her as well.''

It was a tabloid report about Uchitel's relationship with Woods two days before the crash that set the stage for the firestorm which has followed.
