also, vaseline does work really well on dry skin...I have put it on at night under my jammies..then it doesn't seem so slimy....if it gets on my pj's who cares...

Yes, also good for the heart. Vaseline on the lips is good for chapped lips.

Wow, that is my sewing machine also, that was my grandmas    Good night everyone going to bed.  The only thing that has ever worked for me for dry skin, Eucerin body wash, I no longer have bad, dry skin, and I also take a fish oil capsule which helps tremendously. Hope everyone had a good Sunday 

Hey No Rose, I didn't think fish oil would help. Tevye said to stay out of the hot bathtub, I will also try that because that is when my legs really begin to itch. Just my legs, nothing else.

I am taking fish oil capsules right now and it does help.

They really work, I use to get real dry cracking hands not anymore.

that is what I really need, I peel off my skin trying to lace my skates up tight.

Morning Greeneyes It is foggy this morning.

It's not foggy here but must have been over night. The roads were all wet when took GK's to school. 

Clearing up now, but was really foggy this morning, but that was around 6:45 am.

No, I was talking about vaseline, and then I got knocked out    JSM, thanks for posting the pic of your nephew  Also, when someone has a cold or allergies, and if you are like me, under the nose it peels a little Vicks rubbed under the nose helps for breathing and helps the dryness. Trimm I know about the hands, my skin use to crack around the fingernails, like a paper cut, and the fish oil, and I swear by Eucerin Body Wash, I wouldn't shower without it. Also Oil of Olay, is another product I can't do without, I use the lotion every morning on my face.

I do like vaseline for chapped lips, I will try the fish oil, not so sure about vaseline on my legs though, but I will try it too! 

It is good, and I swear to you when you go to the drug store look at the Eucerin products, their body wash. The weather here can get so dry it isn't funny, and my legs from the dryness would even bleed, not a lot, but enough to be irritating, and that product has helped tremendously.

Green Eyes, did you get my email addy? I didn't see anything in mine from Klaas so figured she had sent mine to yours maybe? If you did, could you email me with a suggestion for what I'd need for starters, pretty please? When and only if you have time tho! 

NoRose, I got a sample size of Oil of Olay, and loved it so I bought a huge bottle of the body wash from Walmart! I don't think it's as good as the lotion, but I like that it doesn't leave a heavy soapy feeling, and the fragrance of it is mild.

JSM, I suffer from itchy dry legs too, and it's terrible! Sometimes I sit and scratch them raw! Not good!

This salve  was created to soften cow udders, and it worked extremely well.  I have used it as have many of my friends.....my cousin's hands cracked and bled horribly...I got her to try it and she now swears by it...it is not expensive.....but get the original and not a copy. Hope this helps.

Also Vicks on the chest helps with breathing. I had tried the Aveeno, actually it was some kind of stop itching mess, when I had hives, it was thick and messy in the water.
