Hi Monkeys.     

I've been gone all day - playing Santa.    I can't believe Christmas is next week.   It actually starts early at my house because my daughter, SIL and granddaughter will arrive Wednesday!     I have a lot to do to get ready.     

Hope all is doing well.     

Sunny - don't lurk.    That stuff that was written about you was totally uncalled for, in my opinion.   It would be a real shame if you decided not to join us here anymore.        

I will state my opinion here - I think Klaas made the right decision.   And if my opinion makes it so that you guys don't want me to post here anymore - then I guess I'll just accept it and move on.

Y'all are making me hungry.

My Grandmother that didn't cook made us a special cake for Christmas. It was called popcorn cake. It is made like popcorn balls but had peanuts and m&m mixed in and she put it in a buttered bundt cake pan. Then popped it out when it was firm.

 The sweet from the m&m's and salty from the peanuts and popcorn made it so tasty and delicious. I would eat the whole thing over Christmas weekend. 

I wish she was still around to make me one.

  I have never heard of any cake like that, sounds wonderful, I wish she was still around to make you one also.  I just finished filling those cute candy jars and put them in Christmas bags, now I don't have any Christmas cards that don't say Merry Christmas. My husband can't take cards to work that say that  he will have to go buy some.

OK, Lucy, you got some 'splainin' to do.....

  I only buy cards that say Merry Christmas, and I only say Merry Christmas, if someone doesn't like it, they can just consider me to be like Archie Bunker, politically incorrect. 

I usually only buy Christmas cards that say Merry Christmas and usually I like to have a picture of the Nativity, but these were only a dollar at Big Lots and they are the ones that you put money in. It is for the girls/guy at daycare.

My husband is helping, I don't think he trusts me for it to come out right  My track record isn't the best with cooking or baking. I'm just waiting for the oven to hit 400 degrees.

It really is good, maybe I can email my stepmom tomorrow and see if she will send me the recipe and I will post it. I'm sure she will make one on Sunday for our family Christmas and I will take a picture of it. It is so good and yummy and now I am thinking about my Grandmother. It makes me sad.

Tevye...contrary to what is thought, I do go to the banning thread to see how you and others are doing....not to spy and report. I seldom post there as it was made quite clear that I was not welcome. And that's fine. But I am concerned about you and other's who are going through difficult times. I will  continue to lurk in the banning thread and keep track of your progress. I am a cancer survivor and I know what you are going through...your positive attitude and your faith will keep you strong.

yeah Sunny, don't lurk.  I post stuff they don't even know what I'm talking about, and they still let me stay.   

Plus they ignore me & scroll past, wondering what the he** I'm talking about most of the time, and I just keep posting.

I'm sorry Digger is sick. I hope he feels better. At least it was cat food and not cat poop.
