Hi Monkeys.     

I've been gone all day - playing Santa.    I can't believe Christmas is next week.   It actually starts early at my house because my daughter, SIL and granddaughter will arrive Wednesday!     I have a lot to do to get ready.     

Hope all is doing well.     

Sunny - don't lurk.    That stuff that was written about you was totally uncalled for, in my opinion.   It would be a real shame if you decided not to join us here anymore.        

I will state my opinion here - I think Klaas made the right decision.   And if my opinion makes it so that you guys don't want me to post here anymore - then I guess I'll just accept it and move on.   

Well, you better not move on, and please continue to post  How great Christmas will start early, what fun you will have with Anna's first Christmas

Y'all are making me hungry.

My Grandmother that didn't cook made us a special cake for Christmas. It was called popcorn cake. It is made like popcorn balls but had peanuts and m&m mixed in and she put it in a buttered bundt cake pan. Then popped it out when it was firm.

 The sweet from the m&m's and salty from the peanuts and popcorn made it so tasty and delicious. I would eat the whole thing over Christmas weekend. 

I wish she was still around to make me one.

It really is good, maybe I can email my stepmom tomorrow and see if she will send me the recipe and I will post it. I'm sure she will make one on Sunday for our family Christmas and I will take a picture of it. It is so good and yummy and now I am thinking about my Grandmother. It makes me sad.

I'm sorry  Believe me I know how you feel, my grandma lived on the next block and she was a second mother to me.

I came back to see if anyone has any idea how old Joy Wray is.I don't even know why I thought about it.   

That youtube of her pics from high school say copyright 1997.  If that was graduation yr, she's about 30 yrs old ?

My husband is helping, I don't think he trusts me for it to come out right  My track record isn't the best with cooking or baking. I'm just waiting for the oven to hit 400 degrees.

You all must think I'm a big fat woman, every time someone brings up a food or recipe, there I am saying I love it, or that sounds great  I'm embarrassed, sounds like either I never stop eating, or I never eat and it all sounds good. I eat, and it all sounds good 

I would never think you were fat, you walk Zoe too much to be fat! 

Thank-you, I'm not, but the way I kept going on and on about food, I was getting embarrassed. But everything sounds so good. The Christmas cake your grandma use to make sounds so unique.

  We start talking about lunch come around 9 in the morning, and still talk about it after we eat lunch at work. I LOVE FOOD!!! That's one reason I am scared to quit smoking.

Now that I have this laptop and can't even see what I am typing unless my face is in the screen. That is about right her age, because a long time ago that came up, and I thought she looked older, but she is 29 or 30.

Trimm....sorry that your dog is sick...hope he is better soon! try some cooked hamburger meat with rice..vet recommended that to me when dog was sick..for some reason it soothes their tummy and besides they like it.
