Tevye's School Update:

Well, I got an A in my Biblical Perspectives class. Being a Catholic and biblically challenged, I'm pretty proud of that. My paper was based on "God is the ultimate salesman...He tailors his message to his audience". My teacher said he didn't quite know where I was going with it at the beginning of the paper, but then he  got it. I think there was a large dose of mercy in the grade, and I'm grateful for that! (Oh, and of course, there was music in it. Rehab's This Town! who else would start a bible paper with rap lyrics?  )

The paper that was due last week (class cancelled due to snowstorm) is now finished. I only had to do the conclusion and the reference page. But of course, in true Tevye fashion, once I learned class was canceled, I stopped working on it!!

And, maybe next week I'll go back to the jail and start my "Little Schoolroom in the Jailhouse" program!!

  Way to go Tevye on your paper. I am really proud of you!

Aww, shucks, ma'am, twarn't nothing! I didn't post the update for praise, just wanted ya'll to know that I'm still sluggin' away at college. Gotta get a better job with better health insurance! (Although, I suppose now no one will insure me except my current carrier....that whole cancer thing really mucks stuff up!)

Rosie supplied the material, I just improvised...She is my straight man tee hee!

I swear, I could have a repair man over and before he is finished I would be buying whatever he was selling. The plumber also has to come out, and I told my husband you have to be home for that, before a brand new tub and shower will be installed. We have a leak in the tub, and it needs to be fixed, but I'm not going to be the one dealing with it. I won't even go into my story, about the light bulbs I bought over the phone by a sales person, my husband couldn't believe I spent so much money on light bulbs, and when they got here, he sent them back  I couldn't say no. And then there was the body soap that was suppose to take fat off your body when you washed with it.....that one comes up quite often, my husband and daughter still can't believe I bought that soap 

I am the same way No Rose, I can't say no either. That's why I like it when people come to my door selling stuff I just let Josef bark and they run off.

  We don't get people coming to the door, we may get kids that I know with Girl Scout cookies or something to sell to raise money for something at school, and that I always buy. I have to stay away from the Home Shopping Network and QVC because I buy stuff that looks good, and when I get it home, it is not so good.

My uncle had to put a block on QVC and HSN on my Grandma's cable because she was always buying crap she didn't need. 

In one month, my dement MIL spent over $5,000 on QVC. I blocked the channel from her TV, the other kids packed up all that crap (I mean really, who needs 6 apple peelers??!!), and they finally put the POA in effect and took her cards and checkbook. (My part was fun, I just told her that her tv didn't get that channel anymore!)

One of the "older" guys who used to work for us used to go home and drink beer and watch those channels order everything then not remember he did and all this stuff just kept showing up and he was like ohhh these r kewl!!! haha he was a crack up

I went to a casino in Cali and went in a martini bar, the bartender made the most awesomest martini ever it was her special blend...and if i hadnt already had so much beer and patron shots at the cook ur own steak house before this bar i would maybe remember the name of it.... but it was like all sorts of berries mixed up mmmmmm delicious, then we asked for it again and she made us a cadillac margarita how she got those two confused ill never know!! and thats where i first had coffee flavored patron..... omg wrok sucked then next day ( a few hrs later) but i did manage to "finagle" two very awesome totally steel light weight martini "glasses" ur drink stays ice cold FOREVER....not that they last that long....

My ex MIL cleaned out her closet and I took her clothes some with tags still on them to the thrift shop...and she loved going to thrift shops..anyway 2 weeks later we were in the thrift shop that I took the clothes to and she purchased some of the  clothes she donated.She would not listen to me when I told her that was the same clothes she donated.
