Mission, I don't think you can stay in Wisconsin if you don't love cheese, brats and beer  When I moved to CA I was thirsty and asked someone if there was a bubbler, which is what we called a water fountain. The person looked at me like I was insane. It is not a water fountain, darn it, it is called a bubbler
Wow norose, I never heard a water fountain called a bubbler before. That's kind of cool!

You can't live in Wisconsin if you don't love those things - I think it is a prerequisite when you are born.  I am laughing so hard about the "Bubbler" you are absolutely right the are not fountains they are "bubblers" there was one at the end of every hall in my grade school and there was always a line to use them.  Ahhhh the memories.
I remember standing in line waiting to use the bubbler, while the nun stood there making sure we weren't fooling around  You bet, there was one at the end of every hall

Bubbler is a trademarked name that refers to what some may call a drinking fountain.

The 'bubbler' was developed in 1888 by the then-small Kohler Water Works (now Kohler Company) in Kohler, Wisconsin, which was already well-known for its faucet production.

It's kind of neat how you can go to another part of the country, or even the state, and hear how there are different words or phrases for things. Something you don't really think about that often.

It is QM. When I went to CA, it was like another planet for me. I was from a small town, had a sheltered life more or less. When I met my boyfriend who is now my husband, he took me to Disneyland, and when it was time to eat he asked me if I wanted a taco. I had never had a taco, didn't even know what that was. That first taco led me down the dangerous path of loving tacos

Good Morning!  I am           .  There is a nutbag that has written a book about how the online attention and media in the Tori Stafford case have influenced the police to possibly have arrested the wrong people.  She claims she did not write the book to open wounds or affect the current pending court cases yet did not let Rodney Tori's dad know she was doing this.  She has set up a website for her world wide people find agency/book publishing company and is surprised about the negative reaction she is getting.  We do not have a Sunshine law in Canada.  She could impact the case by her actions.

The judge has not made his rulings on all the motions yet. I believe one of them is taking the DP off the table.
