We have artificial.  I've never had a real tree, isn't that sad?  I've got to rearrange the furniture to get it in the corner.

I was dating a guy once and his family got a live tree one year that they were going to plant after Christmas.  I said, "you mean after you cut it off, if you plant it, it will grow?".  I'm sure once in awhile they still laugh about it.  It was just a few months after I asked his mom if their dryer was broken because she had her laundry out on the line!  I'm such a city girl.

You are a city girl  We would have a real tree, but over the years with different allergies in our house we had to go to artificial. I love to hang clothes on the line, but the association where I live would not approve. My mom always hung clothes on the line, weather permitting.

I love it when my mom tells stories of going out to get the sheets off the line when it was below freezing and they were stiff as boards.

I could really take or leave the tree.  The cat climbs it and knocks off all of the ornaments.  But I do it for Bubba.  As Tevye says: no tree=no santa=no presents.

I truly do not come to this thread to make trouble,for a long time I hung in the rafters and observed and I finally joined in after a nice welcome after I posted that I often came by for my  giggle of the day..this thread will always give you  something to laugh about.

Bud, if you have mistaken me for a banned member that has reappeared I am very sorry to tell I am not a previous member, and I feel sure that one of the mods can verify that for you if you feel like you need that reassurance, I do remember one time you making a remark that I sounded like mytime..and I ask what happened to her and was told she was banned by her own asking..lol and I am sure I have much worse writing and grammar skills, so can we just play nice

But I have a question...Mymonkey has been here before mytime left, how could they be the same person?  I guess I'm nieve or too stupid to pull schenanagens or too busy to worry about who's posting under someone else's online ego.

Over the years we have had many broken ornaments from kids and animals. But I understand, you have to do it for Bubba. Christmas is just not Christmas for me without young kids.

I am not drama monkey and a lot of times not a very smart monkey when it comes to being more than one monkey. I have seen you around also but have not swapped conversation with you...my pleasure also...by the way I don't have a tree up either I travel 2weeks out of the month so I will just enjoy my daughters tree when I go to her house for Christmas.   I just got home and am very behind. Can I get a recap of today please? I didn't even get to peek in the cage except to say I got a SM mug for Christmas!!! I almost fell out of my chair when my friend plopped it on my desk and said Merry Christmas.
