We have been really cold here too, no wind or rain or snow though, just flippin cold for here, its 10 right now

Hey Tevye.Hope you feel well this morning. 

It's an "iffy" day. Can't decide if I'm better or not. BUT...we got about a foot of snow, all the schools in Northern Michigan are closed EXCEPT our local community college. Since my University is part of their program, my class won't be automatically canceled until the little school closes.

So I will do my homework today and do it nice and relaxed (translation:in my robe and gown, kneesocks and slippers) and plan on NOT driving to town tonight. Some of the others in my class have to drive over 100 miles...I think it's ridiculous to not just cancel the whole University Center now. This storm is supposed to get worse this afternoon and evening.

All that being said, there are some things I miss about driving during a storm. It used to be, before front-wheel and 4 wheel drive (auto), that it was a tradition that I would do a 360 at the "big" intersection (3 lane) on our way home from town. Every year, no matter how hard I tried to be going slow enough to stop, I'd always realize too late that I was going to either blow thru the light or hit someone. So, stand on the brakes! My boys loved it! We were all a little disappointed when we all drove Toyata Tercels...they had 4 wheel drive and made slip sliding a little more difficult. However, WE had to engage the 4 wheel, so sometimes, just for fun, we'd go out driving without it on and laugh our butts off! (Don't tell DH...we don't want him to know where youngest son's daredevil streak came from  )

Do not get out in that weather missy. OMG, you are so funny about the driving in the storms and blowing through the lights. I would probably get myself killed, I don't even drive in the ice or snow.

Morning Monkeys.  We got about 6 inches of snow and the wind is gusting to 40 mph with temps at -22 with the wind chill.  I love the snow but the wind and cold I can live without.  I hope everyone is well this morning - I need to catch up wow it has been busy in here.

We have a freezing warning  It was 40 degrees when I walked Zoe, which doesn't seem that cold, but for some reason here it goes right through you.

Ok Monkeys I am heading out in the storm it is snowing pretty good here and the winds are a blowin - I have a hair appt at 5:30 - go figure but I am going to have her cut it and I am running after that no blow dry no nothing else.  Have a great evening and I may catch you all later.

Please be safe     Trimm, I'm sorry about your DIL and your husband, always seems to be crappy news at Christmas for some reason. I love Cheech and Chong, next time I watch one of their movies, I will think of you 

Speaking of hair...did scarycarrie (sp) get her hair cut?

8-10" cut off! kept the blonde highlights on top, added dark redish brown highlights and on bottom half died it all a dark dark brown, a tappered cut in back with lots of layers so the bottom color stick out a lil more, tappered layers around my face also...

Pretty much, i still have sniffles, they went on vacation and have since returned, and i have been pretty tired, so i am not complaining too much  could be worse!!

Thank you! i like it alot, just growing it back out now, deffinately wanna keep the colors and shape tho!!! so much healthier now that all that unhealthy hair is gone!!!

I'm good. I've been a little busy getting ready for Christmas. I've been doing all the errands since my son has been out of town. He's my right hand man. He even cooks!
