Morning JSM and Mission, hope your weather is good 

Ours is, I doubt Mission's is good though.

That's good, I'm sure Mission's weather is very cold, don't know about the snow, but I did just hear there is a storm heading to the Midwest.

We are pretty cold here they say from Christmas to New Years we will be in the single digits to below zero which is fine with me I am on vacation beginning Tuesday until Jan 5th - wooo hoo I can't wait I am going to sit in snug and blog with the Monkeys

Glad you are on vacation, enjoy  The cold, well part of winter in the Midwest, I remember one year it was well below zero for one month, didn't think it was ever going to warm up.

Well I might be a fool too my daughter wants to run to Target and wants me to go with - I may go as I need to stop at a gift shop and get something to dress up a wine bottle - we have a wine exchange on Tuesday at work - this shop has the cutest things to put on wine bottles so I may venture out too yikes

No Rose, I try to be kind hearted, when I left Big Lots, there was a lady that was asking for money to eat. I had some change and a few dollars in my purse, plus the money for the daycare workers. I wasn't sure if I had enough cash for the workers, but I looked for the lady afterwards and couldn't find her. I would have given her my last $50 I had.

Thanks No Rose, I try to be kind and like to think that if I ever needed a handout someone would help me.

Oh wait, I could just call up Obama or Harry Reid, they would give me some much needed cash, right? 

Sure  The cost of everything is just getting worse and worse, we just got a letter in the mail, our association dues are going up 30 bucks more a month, for nothing, they don't do nothing. But you have to pay it, there is nothing one can do, at least I don't think there is.

That is crazy they are raising it, didn't they just raise it earlier this year? I don't think I could live with a HOA, I wouldn't be able to follow the rules and would do stuff just to pizz them off.

Oh that is too cold for me. I don't know how I am going to handle going skiing in the cold. I'm gonna check their weather in a few minutes. It has gotten colder here since I walked Josef this morning. Stupid wind has picked up. Arrggh. You will have a nice vacation all snug and warm.

I have done nothing but fight with this association on two topics that got me nowhere and I just gave up. I hate HOA's also, but here try to find a neighborhood without, it is almost impossible around here. I would love to _itch slap the vice president of the association, she makes me so angry I won't look at her.  Mission good luck with shopping  JSM have a good day

I am going to Petsmart and maybe Walmart. Not Target. I went to Target last Sunday by that rink I skated at way up almost to Oklahoma. There was NOBODY there. All the lines were empty, so much that when I walked by a checkout they asked if I was ready to check out. I should have done my shopping then. If it wasn't so far to drive I would go up there today to shop. I will probably go tomorrow morning before Mass.

We only have HOA's in the fancy gated neighborhoods, so I have never had to deal with one. My mom has one and you can't park your car in the driveway overnight  or you will get a fine.

Here in Texas.... when it hits 40, this old Texas gal shivers.... we are used to blood boiling temps in the 100s in the summer so by the time winter gets here our blood is too thin I guess... or so they say. Only 6 more shopping days til Christmas... is everyone done yet?
