Ok Monkeys I am heading out in the storm it is snowing pretty good here and the winds are a blowin - I have a hair appt at 5:30 - go figure but I am going to have her cut it and I am running after that no blow dry no nothing else.  Have a great evening and I may catch you all later.

Speaking of hair...did scarycarrie (sp) get her hair cut?

8-10" cut off! kept the blonde highlights on top, added dark redish brown highlights and on bottom half died it all a dark dark brown, a tappered cut in back with lots of layers so the bottom color stick out a lil more, tappered layers around my face also...

Thank you! i like it alot, just growing it back out now, deffinately wanna keep the colors and shape tho!!! so much healthier now that all that unhealthy hair is gone!!!

I'm sure, and I bet easier to take care of also. Since we discussed a few days ago about the pain pills and them making you feel better, have you talked to your doctor? It is strange isn't it, how they can help, we sure have that in common.

We made it back from the doctor before the freezing rain and snow. Wind is blowing like mad. Hubby will have surgery next month. I see we got documents today. 

Hey Fanny, stay warm. Sorry he has to have surgery. Yeah we got docs, all two illegible handwritten docs that make no sense whatsoever. 

I've been over there reading and catching up. I hope that isn't all there is.

Whew i got booted for quite awhile there! jeesh  thanks for the reminder to call them back, AGAIN!!!! they called me friday at 508, i missed the call and bout 5 mins later tried calling dr back but it was after hours after 5... so i called friday, the dr and nurse both off, so i called monday a million times couldnt get an answer they never answer there phones!!! so i am trying again now, jeesh all i want is  a simple answer, the one i want would be preferable

Feathers flying: PETA, Louisville again tangle over chicken statue

The crippled chicken looks angry; he is bloodied, on crutches and has bandages across his beak and belly.

It’s a look that People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals would like to share with Louisvillians as public art, namely a 5 ½ foot fiberglass statue on the corner of Fourth and Market streets.

On Thursday, PETA applied for a city permit that would allow display of the statue for three months, as a way to get out its point of view that the corporate restaurant chain KFC treats chickens inhumanely. The base of the statute, which was designed and created by The New Yorker magazine cartoonist Harry Bliss, reads “KFC Cripples Chickens.”

Fanny - glad you made it home safe . 

We have warmed up.  It is only -20 right now with little wind.  Bad part is that now it has warmed up it is snowing again.  They say we are getting a cold snap over the weekend.  I hope it stays warm until Friday as both the kids schools are going skiing on Friday and it would be a shame if they cancelled it.
