I just finished rearranging my son's room, hurt myself moving his desk with hutch so decided to take a break.  It just started snowing here again and is supposed to continue until Tuesdayish.  I have all the Christamas shopping done yet hubby took daughter to go "shopping".  If he does not buy something he feels like nothing has been bought.  I just don't get it.  Next year I will just not buy anything and leave it all to him.  He wants to do more shopping tonight and I told him to have a good time.  Think he got the hint that I am not going?  He has not bought a tree yet but suspect that is coming tonight now that he realizes Christmas is near.
Can't figure men out. I did everything here, and I asked my husband to drop off some treats to one of the neighbors, and it was like I asked him to do something major. He is embarrassed to drop it off, give me a break    Please take care of yourself so you don't hurt yourself anymore  an angelic monkey

That's how I use to shovel also, I wanted to get it all done, I figured if I took a break, I wouldn't finish it  And no way was I going in take boots and everything off, just to go out again.

That is how I am as well.  Once I start shovelling I do not stop till it is done. We have two snowblowers and I can not handle either of them as they are too big for me so I shovel and tell myself it is good exercise.

hahaha. Husband says he can relate! The worst part, he says is getting all suited up. Take too long, he says. Wink

I also think trees look beautiful with snow covering them. But it is also dangerous. The weight often males branches fall off and sometimes brings whole trees down. We had an ice storm a few years back, and it was just awful how many trees were destroyed by it. But, man oh man, it was beautiful. All those branches all covered in ice an inch thick! Was just magical.

Now that is funny.  He is very kind and has a big heart but clueless as to what to get.  I usually give him a very detailed list including stores and model numbers or dimensions of what I want so he does not go crazy on his own.    I asked him to pick me up some  tea bags while he was out and he got 10 boxes.  Need I say more...

Brandi your pictures are beautiful.  You need to build a snowman by that creek.

Those pics are very pretty.   They look like they were taken by a professional.

Thank you. And my son thanks you. LOL

He has not used a digital camera in his life before today!

He's one of a rare breed that just doesn't usually take pictures.

Yes, my dad would never get a snowblower, it wasn't that we couldn't afford one, he is stubborn and wouldn't  And when I was little my mom would always be yelling out the door to take a break, and he wouldn't, must be where I got that from when I got older and shoveled.

That is exactly him.  He got me the 10 boxes as was not sure which one I wanted.  Guess his cell was broken when he was staring at the tea boxes on the shelf.  Now I have enough tea to make up a gift basket.
