I just finished rearranging my son's room, hurt myself moving his desk with hutch so decided to take a break.  It just started snowing here again and is supposed to continue until Tuesdayish.  I have all the Christamas shopping done yet hubby took daughter to go "shopping".  If he does not buy something he feels like nothing has been bought.  I just don't get it.  Next year I will just not buy anything and leave it all to him.  He wants to do more shopping tonight and I told him to have a good time.  Think he got the hint that I am not going?  He has not bought a tree yet but suspect that is coming tonight now that he realizes Christmas is near.

Maybe your hubby is going to buy you something extra special!

Now that is funny.  He is very kind and has a big heart but clueless as to what to get.  I usually give him a very detailed list including stores and model numbers or dimensions of what I want so he does not go crazy on his own.    I asked him to pick me up some  tea bags while he was out and he got 10 boxes.  Need I say more...

Bless his heart.   He sounds like my hubby.   He just wants to make you happy.   That's sweet.    an angelic monkey

That is exactly him.  He got me the 10 boxes as was not sure which one I wanted.  Guess his cell was broken when he was staring at the tea boxes on the shelf.  Now I have enough tea to make up a gift basket.

Great idea! An assortment of tea would be great for that! Good thinking!

Hi NoRose!
Hope you are also staying safe and warm  an angelic monkey   Nut that is very cool

Its snowing like crazy here.    I made a big pot of beef vegetable soup today.
Hubby did the shoveling - but we are supposed to get another 6 inches or so tonight so he'll be busy again tomorrow.
I still haven't done my Christmas cards - but I did get everything wrapped.   I need to start baking cookies and fudge.

Good morning Wyks    My neighbor just called me, she was with her dog, and another neighbor with her two dogs around 8 this morning, and three coyotes came strolling towards them  We live by avocado fields, and you expect them to howl, and see one in there, but now they are becoming bolder and bolder. So now we are trying to get the word out for others to watch when they walk their dogs.

Coyotes scare me.   We had to watch out for them when we were living on Edwards AFB.   Be careful.

I finished the cards, which I hate doing. You guys are all really getting quite the storm. Staying inside and making soup sounds good, and what a perfect time to bake while the snow is falling. I envy you guys and your snow storm, so wonderful to have a white Christmas, even though it is not so much fun to shovel. Actually I use to love to shovel at night, and it was peaceful and beautiful.

They are getting bolder and bolder, and my neighbors who saw the three of them this morning, said they looked well fed, not skinny, so they are getting their meals somewhere. People here no matter the warnings, still let their cats outside, they make me ill, they are so stupid

I have all this wrapping to do now... that is what I really need elves for.  I will spend a whole day sitting in the middle of the den with paper, ribbon tape and scissors everywhere and probably even in my hair til I get them all wrapped.  Even though this is a yearly ritual, for some reason it is my least favorite part of Christmas.  It will be great fun to watch the grandbabies open them though.  I have twin grandababie who are almost a year old.... this is going to be an exciting Christmas for our family.

Hi bananas.   Your wrapping presents is like me doing Christmas cards.   I always put it off til the last minute.   Its my least favorite part of Christmas.   My handwriting looks like chicken-scratch (I broke my wrist a few years back and it affected my handwriting skills) and I never know what to say to half of the people I send cards to.    bah humbug.

Your Christmas will be fun - with the two little angels.

Thanks for the responses on the new baby and my grandson. He is one of my little clowns and will just crack you up with what he says.

Brandi I love the snow pics. Wish I had gotten just a little bit of it.

That is stupid.   When we lived out there, I didn't have any cats at the time, but I had two Yorkies.    I used to worry about them.  One bite and they would be gone.

This is the first white Christmas we've had in years.   Our last big snow was in 2003.   We were overdue.   I just hope the storm that is coming on Thursday will be rain and not snow or ice.   I don't want the weather to interfer with the travel plans of family members.

I'm still here.

I missed you all yesterday, though.   I was running around the stores, getting ready for the snow storm, like the rest of the fools.  I was lucky and bought the last two shovels at the local mom and pop hardware store - Lowes sold out early in the morning.   We don't usually get snow like this - its fun.
I want snow Sassy. PS I love your kitty in the Christmas suit!

Hi JSM!    I'd love to send you some snow!
