Sassy I want one also. Got to sweet talk my landlord.

Zach is so proud of that puppy and the twins are so excited too. I got to hold her for a little bit. She is so tiny. My dil has a pic of my son who is 6' 4 and weighs about 230 lbs in the recliner with him and the puppy asleep on his chest. I will have to get her to send it to me. We had a doxie when the kids were growing up and my son always brought every stray cat he found home.

That would not be good for the family members coming for Christmas, hopefully the weather will cooperate.  an angelic monkey

My brother was supposed to go visit his wife's family yesterday - but decided not to go because of the snow storm and didn't want to leave my parents home alone (they live in an apartment built onto his house).   Since his family had to cancel their trip, I invited them to my house on Christmas Eve.    I'll have a house full.   The more, the merrier.

I would be sad if my little granddaughter wasn't able to make it for Christmas.

I think they will be able to make it, too.   My SIL has four-wheel drive and knowing my daughter, she would insist on leaving a day early to get down here if she had to.   They have to come to my house - Santa comes here!

Have you guys tried the Holiday Nog by Christian Brothers?   It has Brandy in it.    Yum.  It tastes good.    Its not as strong as the other Egg Nogs that already have booze in them - it is just right.

I just finished rearranging my son's room, hurt myself moving his desk with hutch so decided to take a break.  It just started snowing here again and is supposed to continue until Tuesdayish.  I have all the Christamas shopping done yet hubby took daughter to go "shopping".  If he does not buy something he feels like nothing has been bought.  I just don't get it.  Next year I will just not buy anything and leave it all to him.  He wants to do more shopping tonight and I told him to have a good time.  Think he got the hint that I am not going?  He has not bought a tree yet but suspect that is coming tonight now that he realizes Christmas is near.

Please take it easy. You are like me you get your mind made up to do something and over do it.

Me too! And I always hate to wait for the menfolk to do it. They always manage to find other stuff to do, and make me wait till they're darn good and ready to help me. Which explains how I learned to move dressers and armoires up and down stairs (you lay them on their sides and slide them down. for the landing level, you just stand them up, turn, and lay 'em down again!). My DH has stopped asking me "Why didn't you wait for me?". I always take a phone with me on these adventures (One year I thought I could put the lights on the 50 ft blue spruce out front by throwing weighted strands from the roof!! I was safe, but never did get the strings where I wanted them. I tied hangers, walkie talkies, anything heavy, and it still didn't work! You should have seen our tree trimmer friend the first time he pruned and put the strings on! DH and he were all "Now how the hell did THAT get up here???")  Monkey Devil!

I'm going to keep that trick of moving furniture down the stairs in mind.   I never like to wait either.

Hey guys a little hint on moving furniture, buy some of those thingy's that go under the legs and the furniture will slide quick as you please.  I had bare floors up until a year and a half ago and could scoot furniture everywherre by myself, Then had carpet all over and nothing would budge so I bought some of the furniture movers at Big Lots and wam can just glide the sofa anywhere.
