Truth be told, yours and Tevye's are the only ST Pat's Day I have done so far. I just finished up Valentines.

Well, class got canceled!!! Woo to the Hoo! And I only had one more paragraph to go on my homework! Niiiiice! Now I won't have to change out of my nightgown! And I feel a batch of chocolate chip  cookies coming on; it's a rule: snow day = baking. Good thing I rarely get snow days, I'd be as big as a house! 

Hi Tevye, glad class is cancelled. Can you please send me some cookies, I am hungry today.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I read that. I could go for some nice warm cookies fresh out of the oven right now, even though it is time to make dinner. Oh well. Hey it's raining out now, maybe spring is on it's way?

Drive safe. I have no ideas for Christmas card sayings. I don't even buy them. That is my way of helping the enviroment. Nah, not really, just to cheap to buy stamps.

Or, you could just say "Merry Christmas! Where's my present?"

Or," Merry Christmas. Remember that the Child who was born on this day lives in each of us. Treat each other accordingly"

I just usually write a little personal note according to who the people are I am sending the card. My cousin encloses a letter of all the happenings in her large family for the past year. She prints it out on beautiful Christmas paper. Too much work for me. Sometimes, a small picture of the family is nice too.

A family we used to know used to send out those newsletters. They were full of bragging and mass consumerism. One year, at a Christmas party among friends, but not THOSE friends, one guy got drunk and read the letter out loud to the crowd, with plenty of side comments (Like: "Brittany is learning to speak Spanish, and she's only 4! Isn't that exiciting?" The guy added "That's so we can hire her out as a ho in Mexico when she's 18!" Or, "Junior loves his trucks! You should see him zoom around the house with them" Guy: "This will come in so handy when he fulfills his dream of growing up to be a getaway car driver with the local gang!"

It was hilarious. Mysteriously, the letters ceased after that.

I put a brief synopsis in ours: "All are healthy, those that are supposed to be working, are. Those that are in school are staying there. We all have more than we should to eat, and we get along like family. Most importantly, we are all still speaking to each other!"

    That is funny Tevye. Some of our newsletters you would swear were written by Dolce, so full of happiness, wealth, and beauty and the rest of us know that it is all a bunch of bunk. The family fights, sisters don't speak to each other, brother is an ahole.

I like what you say, everyone is healthy, happy and speaking. Luckily I can say the same for about my family this Christmas (hasn't always been that way), but we will see come Dec 25th when I am riding millions of miles away wanting to puff a cigarette and being told "no those will kill you"
