I will have to ask my neighbor Nancy about calling animal control, never thought to do that. I'm use to the coyotes howling at night and in the field, but this is getting dangerous the way they are now roaming more and more.
I would call animal control. They will probably trap them and send them to another part of the woods. At least that is what they do here. Now when I lived in the country, it was a different story. PETA even got pizzed at the neighbors down the street because of the coyotes hanging on the fence posts. I guess I should have called PETA and let them pay for Josef's 5,000 dollar vet bill from the coyotes attacking him.
I remember you saying that happened to Josef  an angelic monkey And I was thinking that the coyote might not come after Zoe and me, but since Josef got attacked I guess I'm wrong. Poor Josef  an angelic monkey
They usually are afraid of people, but if you are seeing them in your neighborhood, the it is possible someone could be feeding them and they are becoming used to people. They are still wild animals to be afraid of and if they are hungry they will go after anything. With Josef, what I was told is they get a female in heat to get a male dog come after her, then the pack attacks the male that is trying to mate with the female. I don't know if that is true, but it does make sense since Josef wasn't totally "fixed" at the time he was attacked. I think the other two dogs we had are the ones that saved him.
I never knew that, how frightening

OMG - I just got back from the most excruciatingly painful 3 hours of my life. My two little nieces (3 year old twins) had a dance recital tonight. I do not expect kids that age to do much on stage but even the adults and teens were HORRIBLE. It was just awful. It was painful - they had singers that could not carry a tune, some strange dance type things - I really thought I was watching an audition for America's got talent - ya know, the part where they show all the funny auditions. Good thing the little kids were so cute. <<<<insert emoticon hitting head with hammer over and over and over>>>>>>
Sorry that is so funny. Sounds like my skating competition.

Been there when my kids were little and dance recitals, you just sit there going, why am I here? Once your kids are done with their dances, you want to leave, but feel you shouldn't. I enjoyed watching my kids, but some of it

That's what is great about skating, you watch your peeps skate then you leave. No one thinks a thing about it, they all do it.
