Holly Gagne, who has publicly stated Casey Anthony was a good mother, is now facing felony charges of her own.

Hal Boedeker of the Orlando Sentinel writes that according to news reports, Gagne fought with her husband about photographs that were not hers. When he tried to prevent her from taking the photos, she allegedly attacked him with a bat.

Gagne will be in court later in the month regarding the charges against her.

In July 2008, Gagne appeared on HLN’s Nancy Grace Show and stated that the Casey she knew was a good mother.

Casey is charged with the first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony. Her trial is scheduled to take place in June 2010.

  Sure would like to know what photos they are talking about. Must be pretty good, to go after the husband with a bat

So it’s 4:11 a.m. July 16th, 2008, approximately 8 hours into the reported disappearance of Caylee.  Yuri Melich sits down with recorder and conducts the first official interview with Casey (starting on page 71 of the pdf).  She has already completed her written statement.  The first thing that Yuri Melich does is verify that the written statement is true.

    Q ‘Cause I wanted to make sure that your sworn statement, which I’m looking at, was accurate. I’m looking at four pages of a sworn statement on the bottom it appears to be your signature, is that correct?

    A Yes.

    Q Okay. And you’re saying that everything contained in these statements are true and accurate?

    A Yes.

Big day for attorney Andrea Lyon, who is representing Casey Anthony.

Lyon’s book, “Angel of Death Row: My Life as a Death Penalty Defense Lawyer,” comes out today. Alan Dershowitz wrote the foreword.

Lyon will read from the book at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at a Barnes & Noble in New York’s Greenwich Village.

Kirkus Reviews starts its critique:  “Courtroom tales from a DePaul University law professor passionately committed to defending those accused of capital crimes.” The review concludes: “Riveting stories from a persuasive attorney.”

Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

Good Morning Monks. I just watched JB and LKB on In Session. They didn't say anything we haven't heard from the before. Casey is innocent and they are going to prove it in court. JB talked about how much MORE there is to the case. They talked about how public perception is based on the 'sound bites' and they are not going to try their case in the media!  HELLO???????

   Please excuse ... I'm so way far behind in reading ... but just had to laugh at this - what these spotlight-hungry/soundbite spewers always say is so predictably rediculous ... I half expect to hear them conclude with :  "grits ain't grocery & Mona Lisa was a man."

Joy has been interview by LE, written a letter to the Judge, been in meetings with the defense and claims to have proof that Caylee's body was not there when she looked by herself.  She has also claimed that she is writing a book.   Other than the fact that she has kept herself alive in all her technicolour glory in the public eye she is part of this case but not a very private one like Tony L, Roy K, Ricardo, Jessie, and Dianne Fanning for the book writing side of it.  If any of the above mentioned people (or others not mentioned) acted like JW on a constant basis I am sure we would be posting more about them as well.  They seem to have the common sense to keep a low profile. 

Hello.  And hello to all monkeys.  If she is writing a book I feel she will find it difficult getting past the page numbers.

Good Morning Beautiful/Handsome Monkeys....The most amazing part of this transcript is when Yuri asks her, "so is this the story you are sticking to?" Crazy answers, "its the truth.....Thats the story im sticking to!"......O dear lord this chic is an idiot, she herself called it a story!! BTW Has anyone pointed out that although we know Casey made up all the people in her alibi, Juliette Lewis does in fact exist! ...Yep, Shes a hollywood starlet. No wonder the name rolled off her tongue so nicely!

Anthony Check Trial Less Than 3 Weeks Away
23-Year-Old Accused Of Stealing Money From Friend

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Court records show Casey Anthony is less than three weeks away from her first criminal trial.

On Jan. 25, Anthony is scheduled to stand trial for 13 check fraud counts.

The felony charges stem from allegations she drained her friend Amy Huizenga's bank account of several hundred dollars while her daughter, Caylee, was missing.

Surveillance video appears to show Anthony on several shopping sprees at Target.

Judge Stan Strickland so far has not acted on her defense team's request to move the trial.

Neither side will comment on whether a plea could be in the works on the fraud case.

Anthony is also expected to face trial for murder later in the year.

The 23-year-old is at the Orange County Jail charged with first-degree murder in the death of daughter, Caylee. Caylee's remains were found in a wooded area off Suburban Drive near the Anthony family home in Dec. 2008.

IIRC ....police made sure Joy's kids had Christmas gifts I think in 2007, after the carjacking or whatever Joy got in the middle of. But now they have a search boat, video cameras, a desktop and a laptop, and something else I noticed in some pics of Joy. She has store bought boobs. The woman is crazy as a loon.
