So it’s 4:11 a.m. July 16th, 2008, approximately 8 hours into the reported disappearance of Caylee.  Yuri Melich sits down with recorder and conducts the first official interview with Casey (starting on page 71 of the pdf).  She has already completed her written statement.  The first thing that Yuri Melich does is verify that the written statement is true.

    Q ‘Cause I wanted to make sure that your sworn statement, which I’m looking at, was accurate. I’m looking at four pages of a sworn statement on the bottom it appears to be your signature, is that correct?

    A Yes.

    Q Okay. And you’re saying that everything contained in these statements are true and accurate?

    A Yes.

Twisted for sure. I wonder did she actually think the LE were not going to check out EVERYONE???  They gave her at least 3 chances to change her story before signing the statement.

BTW Has anyone pointed out that although we know Casey made up all the people in her alibi, Juliette Lewis does in fact exist! ...Yep, Shes a hollywood starlet. No wonder the name rolled off her tongue so nicely!

Yes, and one of Juliette Lewis' best known movies was 'Natural Born Killers'-  do you suppose Casey made a Freudian slip there ?

IIRC ....police made sure Joy's kids had Christmas gifts I think in 2007, after the carjacking or whatever Joy got in the middle of. But now they have a search boat, video cameras, a desktop and a laptop, and something else I noticed in some pics of Joy. She has store bought boobs. The woman is crazy as a loon.

Hi Darla  Yes, I sure hope so.  I think we would find some interesting emails between Joy and some of the leading actors in the case.  After all, she did say she talked to George on the phone all the time, so there must be emails.  The so-called book she's writing (She can't string more than four words together correctly) is probably on the confiscated computer too.  Under FL law, I think they will be released.  Should be entertaining reading.

Joy Wray isn't all we have to talk about, but I personally think she is worth talking about.  As far as is known, she is the highly touted witness who will prove that Caylee's body was placed in the woods after Casey was jailed.  If she has doctored photos of the site where Caylee's body was found, that's quite important, particularly if the defense plans to use the photos as proof of Casey's innocence.   As far as I'm concerned, the more revealed about Joy Wray on the internet or anywhere else, the better. I hope you don't mind.

Trimm thank you for bringing this. Now I completely understand. Folks facing the DP are just like you and me. My early childhood traumas of being the middle child ( and the only girl) sniff, is probably, sniff, the reason, boohoo, that if I, waaahh, kill someone I should never be on the death row, excuse me....I'm just a mess after listening to mizz lyons. She's mezmerizing, magnificent and not bragging of course, the first woman in that position.....does that sound familiar? That lucky kc. to have attys. who are pioneers in the field and so modest too.   
                                         

PS~ it does look like Stacey and Clinton have given her a makeover, nary a barrette anywhere

Lyon's new book, "Angel of Death Row: My Life as a Death Penalty Defense Lawyer," which doesn't focus on the Anthony case, is now heading to store shelves. The book explores Lyon’s first case in which she defends a mother accused of murdering her child.

Baby bear, Thank you. There is not much to discuss at the moment, And Joy has inserted herself into this mess. She has been part of discussions, for way over a year now. If she changed dates on photos, what else might she do for Georgie boy.

Mind- no of course not.    I am bored with her though and I have read enough about her to know that she has absolutely no credibility- she would be a nightmare witness for Casey- the Prosecution will demolish her if she were on the stand.  But discuss her all you want-  what I am waiting for is something more interesting - ie docs.
