It is the same Joseph Jordan who posted here and on Websleuths.

OK...as usual, I'm in a confused state...if I remember correctly, he was a "friendly" poster here...

We don't know what this is all about ?  I missed so much this summer and really am lost

OK- from what I am reading on the web- so don't take it as gospel- he had a conversation with Mort Smith- the defense's Private Investigator ( works at the same college as A Lyons) discussing his efforts to search the Suburban drive area. He taped this conversation, which was illegal, and so it can not be evidence, can't even be listened to by SA or the defense as the Judge has sealed it...    now, according to where you are reading,Mort Smith apparently told JJ that 'they' had searched that area-  and also is supposed to have made suggestions that if JJ found anything he report it to the Defense, not LE.  Make what you want of that.

OMG Sea, I can't believe you remember that my full size Christmas tree is upside down and on the wall! You have a memory like an elephant! I think Klaas confirmed he posted here for a little bit. Very interesting. I wonder what he got on that recording!!?? Is there a court order for him to keep his mouth shut?? I don't remember seeing one. He could go on Good Morning America or the Today show and tell us what the defense investagator said! Maybe for Christmas?

I can only imagine that since it's the defence that wants it hushed...that it's bad for KC in that the investigator must have said something that would hang her (again) so to speak...he use to have a website but I can't remember what it was...maybe he posted something on there about it....since it no longer can be used in trial...maybe it will get posted now ???? I dunno...don't want to say too much about it because I'm just guessing..

Thanks.      Finally, the judge ruled that a recorded statement made by Joe Jordan cannot be released. The Texas EquuSearch volunteer illegally recorded a conversation that took place with a defense investigator without the investigator’s consent. Jordan (allegedly) told both the defense and prosecution two different stories about whether he searched the same woods where Caylee’s remains were discovered.  So Jordan told two different stories  allegedly

Judge Denies Motion To Block Videotaping Of Casey

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Judge Stan Strickland denied another defense motion in the case against Casey Anthony Thursday. Judge Strickland said that Casey should not get special treatment in the jail.

The defense wanted the jail to stop videotaping Casey whenever she was meeting with her lawyers or with her family.

But the jail videotapes every inmate in those situations so the judge denied the motion. He also turned down three other motions that came out of last Friday's court hearing.

Casey Anthony case: Judge says jail can keep recording

A judge won't stop Orange County Jail officials from recording visits between Casey Anthony and her attorneys.

Orange Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland ruled Thursday on the defense's request to stop those recordings. He wrote in the two-page order that he can't force the jail to "cease and desist from videotaping Ms. Anthony's meeting with her attorneys."

However, he does have concerns about content of any videotape that might be released and has seen at least one that would impact Anthony's right to a fair trial, Strickland wrote.

It's unclear which video the judge is referring to in his motion. Several months ago, Strickland did stop the release of a video that showed Anthony's reaction when she learned about her daughter's remains.

Anthony, 23, is charged with first-degree murder. Her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, disappeared in the summer of 2008. Her remains were found on Dec. 11, 2008 in woods less than a mile from her family's home.

Her defense team complained that their meetings with Anthony in the jail were being recorded. Jail officials say it's for security purposes and the video has no audio.

Strickland ordered that he must view — behind closed doors — any video of visits with her attorney before it's released to the public.

Judge Stan Strickland denied the defense's motion Thursday to prohibit Orange County Jail officials from videotaping visits between Casey Anthony and her legal team.

Strickland also considered delaying the release of any videotapes of the meetings until after the trial, but saw no need to do so and cited the trial's late start as delay enough.

The judge did stipulate that he must first approve of any videotaped interview before it is released to the public to guarantee that nothing compromises Anthony's fair trial.
