Since Natalee left us, our son has graduated from college, graduated from law school, passed the bar exam (first try ~ thank you, Lord), and will hopefully find a job...

All of the above just makes me realize how long sweet Natalee has been gone, and what she would have accomplished.  so sad.

Congrats to your son tcumom!  I know you are very proud!  I hope he'll find a job soon.  It does make me sad too to think of all Natalee would have accomplished by this time.  And to think so much time has passed and still no Justice for her either.

Pictures from the masquerade party for Carnival last night.  I was looking through when I saw someone that slightly resembled Anita van der Sloot in costume.  Then I thought, no way...then I thought well I'd better check:

I'm not sure.  It's pretty warm in Aruba and I'd bet they play tennis pretty late otherwise the heat would be unbearable IMO.  I don't find the time that suspicious.

They are so secretive on that island. If somebody keeled over on the tennis court here, the tennis partner would be on TV expressing shock and awe. And somebody here said that Jossy said "afternoon" which makes me wonder too.

I don't know that it matters much, though, whatever he was doing. He was out wandering around casinos at 4 a.m. the night Natalee disappeared. Weird guy.

The news broke at about 10:35.( Thanks, TM) I figure that it happened at least two hours before the news broke.
Somebody from Aruba was searching for Paulus here before that, probably trying to string a story

Edward I admit, initially my thoughts went right where yours went.

But there is no way that Joran would be able to keep his mouth shut......so I really don't think so.

I don't know what the schedules are/were for tennis in Aruba, but when I lived in a really hot climate, a lot of tennis was played when it was cooler, which would be in the morning or in the evening under lights.    Did the tennis courts PVDS was supposed to have been playing on have lights?   And what time does it get dark?
