The pdf states on page 6 that Deepak failed to declare that he 'attended' the International Christian Academy in Miami, FL in 2004 ?????

Why would they care if he took the course online??

This is a Visa application discussion. Why would that even be discussed if he took the course online?

Just curious.

Regarding Sharon's question quoted above, my interpretation was that both Deepak and Satish had filed for a Visa but each time had inconsistencies or omissions.  In other words, Deepak filed and omitted the Miami school, then later may have included it and a red flag came up. 

From personal experience in filing government forms for my Dad or our personal use, all info has to be filled in and documentation attached.  If not, denial will be forthcoming.  (my experience does not include Visas, but I would think Homeland Security would be strict on this). 

It seemed obvious to me that all schools attended were to be listed.  I have lost touch with a co-worker who was sponsored by our employer to get her working Visa when she married and came to the states from India.  When she sought her green card later, she and her husband had to travel to Canada (don't recall why), rather than NYC (as before) and it took a couple of days there before all of the necessary paperwork and further requirements were attained.  I remember there were many papers to be submitted and the night she stood by the copy machine trying to make the deadline.

I move cruise line crew from every country around the world to every country around the world. I've heard of every type of Visa with every letter in the alphabet followed by numbers.

I have never heard of needing to apply for a Visa because you are taking an online course in another country.

I thought the pleading was trying to point out that he's managed to go thru the visa application process before -- why can't he apply correctly now?

I must be going thru one of these 'dumber than rocks' phases.

Sharon, dear, I spent a bit of time today looking for the requirements for various types of visas today.  I did find one site where it listed schooling for a spouse had to be listed in detail, but came to a dead end with individuals for temporary visas. 

You are not dumber than rocks, for cryin' out loud.  I just wanted to see the paperwork they may have filled out and my puter was not cooperating.  I just know what I have filled out and it is very painful.  (Not sayin' that it shouldn't be for K2 to come to trial...just that it should be the same for them.)  As some have said, maybe it's all on purpose.  I just don't know.

I was digging with my no nothing at all shovel....sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. 

Not to belabor this, but I was thinking that the schools attended were required by the embassy that they went to to request the visa....there are many forms to fill out from what I could see, depending on the type of visa needed.  Not knowing what type of visa is what stymied me.  I didn't think they were requiring a Visa because they attended an online school.  Maybe it's been too cold here for me to understand.     back at 'ya.
