Famous Aruban art teacher and painter Joe Miklojcik and his wife Donna opened their home for a wine tasting and art show designed to entertain and educate IFA members.

“Thanks for hosting our wine tasting and art show at your lovely home, it was a wonderful way for IFA to start off the year, and we had a great turnout.  Everyone enjoyed the wines provided by purveyors Pepia Est, and it was great to see the art created by IFA’s talented members,” said President Marty Relan, on behalf of the membership.

Pepia Est’s Sanne Michielse, explained the different wines, elaborating on nuances of flavor, as combined with Donna’s home made snacks.

Just catching up and I really enjoy all the posts by all Monkeys...
This thread is alive with the hope that the Dr. Phil trial goes forward, and disposition of k2 in LA...

I have always thought, like many of you, that paulass was directly involved the night Natalee went missing, and I always felt she was at the sloot hellhole. For me, it came clear when the photo at the blackjack table with paulass next to Natalee and her obvious discomfort....

What I think will be very interesting as the deposition/trial date approaches......how long k2 survives....if k2 appears for deposition...if the lawsuit goes to trial.......the longer it goes towards a trial....the worst it would seem it gets for k2/paulass/ahata/aruba......when will the powers that be deem k2 a liability.....and disappear them.......

I theorize that Joran, Deepak, Satish, the sons of the elite and Paulus were all present at the van der Sloot residence doing the unspeakable against the person of Natalee Holloway who appeared to be an unconscious.  I suspect that Natalee had been targeted by Paulus at the casino.

Later Joran, Satish (?) and Deepak took what appeared to be an unconscious Natalee to the beach where the assumption was that she would sleep off the drugs and ... make her way back to the hotel ... pack and ... fly home to Alabama with no recollection of what took place at the van der Sloot residence.  It had been done many times before without incident.

However ... upon arriving at the beach ... Joran, Satish (?) and Deepak realized that Natalee was deceased.  Maybe it was in Deepak's vehicle that Natalee had a "seizure" ... maybe it was at the beach ... maybe it didn't happen at all.  Nevertheless ... it was at this point cover up began to take a life of its own.

Think about the suspicions that warranted the initial detainment of all the suspects in the Natalee Holloway case.

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) ... A third man was arrested with the Kalpoes but his lawyer said Monday that it was unrelated to Holloway's disappearance.

Freddy Alexander Zedan-Arambatzis, a friend of van der Sloot and the Kalpoes, was arrested on suspicion of having unspecified "physical contact" with a female minor, said his lawyer, Diana Emerencia.

Zedan-Arambatzis, 21, is also suspected of photographing the girl in "tempting poses" and showing the images to other people, Emerencia said.

The Kalpoe brothers and van der Sloot are also suspected of involvement in the incidents, which allegedly occurred before Holloway disappeared, she said.

First wave of Swine Flu vaccinations ends

ORANJESTAD - Health officials announced yesterday morning that Friday, December 18 will be the last opportunity for island residents to obtain their free H1N1 Flu virus vaccinations until the program continues with the second wave of vaccinations beginning well in the middle of January. Head Epidemiologist Maribelle Tromp reminded the public that Aruba has obtained 35,000 doses of H1N1 virus immunizations, but only 1367 individuals have taken advantage of the free vaccinations being offered daily until December 18. Today and tomorrow, Wednesday, December 16 will be the last time the shots will be offered at three locations in the late afternoon and evening, to accommodate most working schedules, announced Sharlene Koolman of the Department of Contagious Diseases.

The only other photo I've seen that comes close to looking like the Lorenzo that was arrested in 2007 is the Lorenzo/Van picture from the beginning of the case.
